The bond is your guarantee to the state that the vehicle is your property. The bonded title is similar to a regular vehicle title, however, it has a bonded branding on it. Most states will remove the bonded branding from the title after the bond is expired. To summarize, a surety bond is purchased and issued through a surety company.
