An upgrade I did on a Toloyo marui G3 SAS. Took out a lot of the standard parts to increase power and rate of fire. Final power was around 1.1 joules using a 0.2g BB. I used 14:1 gears, Element M130 spring, Torndo high tourque motor, Upgrade pistion, piston head, cyclinder head and nozzel. - Results may vary even if the same parts are used.

Hello! Im curious on your solution to the bushings spinning inside the gear box? I didnt see you use any adhesives to hold them in place. Also another solid vid! Keep up the content! ^.^

I always try to use a bushings that fit snug into the shell. I have never glued in any before. 😁

If mine aren’t snug I like to put a little dab of JB weld and let it cure in their.

@@adzzzysarmoury It's good practice to use a durable adhesive (typically some sort of epoxy) to hold bushings in place. Otherwise they can spin in the shell and wear out the slots which can cause several serious issues. Kind of a stupid reason to send a gearbox to the bin.

I copied your build mate and it’s brilliant, Thanks 🙏🏼. Only thing I’ve not swapped is the motor. Can you recommend a seller for the tornado? Or do you have an online store? I’m still running on the standard Specna Arms motor in the H07.

@@dutchschaefer5787 that's brilliant that you have had good results too!! I got the motor from Gunfire but I order in large quantities so probably not worth you importing from them unless you are placing a large order. If you can't find one in the UK then the SHS high tourqe motor is also a good shout. Sadly I don't have any left myself at present.

Also make sure it runs smoothly with the gears aswell, including when you have installed your chosen piston head and it's in the cylinder. You will be suppressed at how many "drop in" upgrade parts don't always work smoothly with different gearboxes or gears. 😎

Have you ever tried to take 3 tooth of pick up side and 1 from release side when you are using a delayer chip? It should give you about the same tapet timing as you get in this build but without the hazzle of trimming down the tapet fin and part of the delayer chip.

Yes I have done this on occasions. It depends on the build I'm doing. This prevents FPS drop on full auto if the delayer chip is engaging too soon. 😎

@@adzzzysarmoury I have an G&G arp9 shoots a couple bbs's then nothing no motor sounds just nothing any advice would be nice no the mosfet isn't bad I disconnect battery and plug back in fires again then will stop again my local tech said he fixed it but it's not anyways you have any thoughts?

@@errolkingnava7275 It may depend on what weight of BB you are using and your final ROF. If it feeds fine then no chip needed, if not then best to follow what is in this video, taking a small amount of material off the pickup side of the chip to avoid early engagement of tappet.

I am going to get into airsoft soon and after i get my first good gun i want to try to create a 3d printed one and i want it to shoot around 400 fps long distance dmr style with a side arm that does around 350 fps at 55rpm or just crazy fast as a meme can u do an explination video on what parts increase power vs what parts increase rate of fire

I have recommendations if you want them, you may want the grip to be normal plastic instead of 3d printed, and just make sure that the outer Barrel and Handguard are held in place very well, if not it could grow off your alignment and result in reduced fps

I have a little question, i'm learning about tech looking some videos so don't take it bad, why you SS 4 gear teeth instead of getting 13:1 and only SS 1? ( i want to build an m4 so it's important to know everything)

Short stroking allows for quicker return of the piston as it has less distance to travel, Can help avoid premature engagement of the piston if you have a really fast rate of fire and also can improve semi response. You have to be aware of cylinder volume and barrel length when short stroking. Using faster gear sets will increase the rate of fire but needs a motor strong enough to turn them efficiently. You can still consider short stroking even when using faster gears. It depends what you are wanting to achieve from a build.

Hey there brother, so I viewed your video so I can get help with my mp5, because I did a spring change to it but not when I put everything together it sounds like my gears aren't engaging with the piston. It'll cycle once but then after that it just sounds like they're just spinning. Any idea on how to fix that or what I may have done wrong, thanks in advance.

@@betovenegas3523 it will be the same as what you have seen in this video. It will be a version 2 gearbox which is the same as a lot of models. 😁 You could watch most of the videos on my channel and it will all help you achieve your upgrades.

@@betovenegas3523 you always have to check any part you put in a gearbox to make sure it is works smoothly with the other parts. Once you have successfully upgraded one gun. You could pretty much do any. Yes there will be difference especially if you start looking at gearboxes with recoil or other features. But essentially it's the same principle.

Hello, i recently bought a g&g cm15 , it has 0.5 joules and i want to make it shoot faster, what would be the easiest way to do that? It has a v3 gearbox.

I doubt it has a v3 gearbox, should be a version 2. With that being said it won’t change what needs to be done to get higher fps, you’ll need to upgrade your compression parts, piston head cylinder head and air nozzle. If you still don’t have the desired fps then get a stronger spring. However I recommend you do some research on airsoft forums before you do any of that. .5 j is very low, something else might be wrong with your gun.

I wouldn’t do a whole lot to that gun tbh other than short stroke it, a stronger spring and maybe a brushless motor if you can turn active breaking off on the mosfet
