Great video, letting kids know how to get ranked and reminding them that these rankings don’t matter long term. They’re fun to look at, but tons of big time prospects aren’t known until they are sophomores in high school, some even later.
i’m class of 2025 been working my ass off everyday to improve. I’m and 5’7 and a half, my family ain well off like some people that just pay and play for top teams my parents aren’t going to spend $375 for a basketball camp. I didn’t even get to get highlights together because of this covid shit. For people reading this we gon make it we just have to work 💯.
inbox library I’m very very late but it all starts by putting in the work. Once you have been putting in the work attend as many camps as possible and make sure you play like a dawg and dominate the camps and coaches will start looking at you and stuff like that.
In the class of 2023. It's hard in the trenches and playing ball. I'm 6ft and run 1-5, but it's still really hard because my family are not the parents who are going to pay 375$ for a basketball camp . shit also overwhelming because I work my ass off and it's hard seeing people born with shit given to them get all the attention. I just want to make it out trenches to the league so my momma don't gotta struggle and take care of my family. And motivate the ones who went through the same struggle.
Same here bruh. My parents are not the type to spend 500$ and have me go to another state for a basketball camp. On top of that I can't find any AAU teams available during the Summer. I guess it's like he said. We just gotta keep working.
Cxmp xGreens they gon find you that what people problem is stop worrying about the materialistic things. if u can’t stop focusing on that you don’t really love the game you just want the financial benefits
I’m a 5’7 guard class of 2022,who works hard and knows he can be working even harder, but I wish I had a shot in going to these camps with best players in my class,I don’t go to the biggest school in the country but my goal since I was kid was to make the Nba I hope I can accomplish that.
1. Stay in the gym and work your ass off ( be consistent) 2. Go to the major basketball camp for better exposure ( if you can afford) (stop spending on unnecessary things and go to camp i stead😜) 3. Show hunger, (Collin Sexton) you want the smoke, be the ultimate competitor 4. Play with somebody who's ranked ( if you can) and shine with him so you can catch some of the attention he has already ( ex. Rocket Watts is now more known bcz of Lamelo) use their exposure as a benefit 5. Reclassify...
I’m from Michigan, I’m a 10th grader and I graduate in 2022 I’m 5’11 and still growing and I’m a good playmaker and defender and I can shoot a 3pt and midrange very well and I can block shots now. I also can post up for a guard and I’ve been in the gym everyday and I’m very underrated and Overlooked by a lot of people and I hope to get Ranked and get a full scholarship to Michigan or Michigan state and play in the nba,So I work hard towards that goal everyday and I stay humble because I know what’s expected of me💯
Everyone in my family tells me it’s about height. I was cut 2 years in a row 5th and 6th grade bc I was short. I worked so hard those two years. Whether it was raining, snowing, or extreme heat, it didn’t matter. I practiced for 8 hours a day. In 7th and 8th grade I started for my team and we won the chip twice. The coaches still didn’t believe in me since I’m only 5ft. I’m starting highschool and I’m trying to get noticed so I can prove everyone wrong, and help my family financially.
5’10 multi sport student athlete class of 2023 8th grade, shooting guard and forward. Puts in work everyday, trying to score more buckets and dribble better when the pressure is on! Lives in NJ moving to FL! High school to come is Treasure Coast High School!
I have a friend that is really good at ball but he does not work hard and I am always in the gym working hard and doing way more than him and he always seems to still be better than me what do I do?
I can’t go in the gym because as soon as my mom get off work I go home and I try to just jump and dunk with a small ball but ik a very good guard it’s hard trynna make it out New Orleans
im class of 2026 I’m 5 feet and 13years old have been working hard through the rain through the snow, through the thunder and the HATE. My parents Aint gonna pay no $375 for me to be on a AAU team which makes me work harder because ain’t nun finna be handed to me with this height.I play at the ymca right now but it’s a start.
I live in Oklahoma. But it’s no excuse. Trae Young got ranked was a 5 star ranked 16th and I believe Blake Griffin was a 4 star but he was still ranked. I will do the same.
How do I get ranked if I play for a public school that’s not better then then private schools in the area. Or how do you get into the private schools with a scholarship
I’m ranked 87th in the class 2020 and I had to do a lot of work in gym for 2 hours a day doing nothing but jump shot drills and ball handling and for anybody that’s trying to get ranked out there go put in the work at any time u can
I’m 5’10 and I’m in class of 2021. I’m in a very hard situation. All of my life coaches have been teaching me how to play the center position. But, I’m not even that tall compared to people in my class . I’m a very good player I averaged a double double this season for high school ball . And in one game I had a 23 rebound game. I live in ny and there’s a lot of very great centers. I believe I can go D1 but I just need height. I’m having a very hard time believing “Heart over Height”.
yusuf geyre dawg you gotta develop your guard skills better. if your coach saw you as a guard , you would be one . that means whoever is running guard on your squad rn is a better dribbler, shooter, and probably passer than you rn. change that and you’ll be a guard instead of a pf.
I need tips because I go to the best school in Detroit and I’m in class 2022 I’m working on making varsity next year and ima stay in the gym and play aau to get better
Class of 2026 I been putting in work at 5’9 135lbs and I’m better than most varsity people as a freshman at my school and got 2 blocks in a 5v5 varsity game, I believe I will make the NBA and I really do put in work like hell, I think I’m one of the best in my area 🏀🔥
I'm a 5'7 guard in the class of 2025 and my parents are considering Orlando Christian prep, Oak ridge high school, or Montverde and I'm trying to work on my game so wish me luck please
can i get tips on living in a small town oklahoma? there’s actually no where to go for me except beg my mother to take me to our school gym, which happens like once or twice a week, my best chance at getting to practice my own stuff is whenever my mom takes me or since she’s a teacher i wait longer after school and practice, i put in much more work than all my teammates i’m clearly better but after all i don’t get any recognition for it yet my team underestimates me i’m just tired
I live in Moorhead Minnesota and I show out at the camps I go to but when it comes to a game the coaches kid has to hog the ball any advice on how I could get a d1 scholarship that’s the goal
I'm going into my 8th grade year and I work out every day outside of my house with a mask on and I never stopped I work on my handles shooting and dunking and foot work and I see a lot of improvement but I'm very slept on at my school I'm going at any one who comes my way and me my sisters and my mom are not in the best spot right now we live check to check and basketball was the way to let everything out and I just want to make sure me and my family don't have to live like that and we have a stable way to live I practice everyday and one day I know I can make the league just gotta keep working and never get Comfortable where I'm at
I know this is really late but I’m a high school d6 player but people in my aau team are ranked. I feel like I don’t play at the right division. I would say at least d3 cause when I played against pinole valley I did the most and scored the most in the game but my team was blown out. My dad is transferring me to Montverde Academy for 11th and 12th ( I may transfer in 12th c/o 2022 btw) and I am rather scared but happy at the same time because they’re program is insane. I’m currently 16 and 6’5. I’m more focused on a d1 offers from colleges and being recruited than being ranked. But how do I get coaches to notice me. 🙏🏾
I ain’t tryna sound like a dick bro, but look up drills/ create your own workout, and constantly do it. You don’t need trainers to be great keep working
Y’all remember goku vs vegeta during the saiyan saga? Goku said “even a low class saiyan can beat an elite if they work hard enough.” Follow that and you’ll be alright.
