I can totally relate to this. 😆 I attended our schools tech program for Cosmetology,(then went on to an Academy of Arts ang Sciences to further for Teaching degree in Cosmetology etc.) I was ALWAYS everyone's go to for "live model." Everytime i was in the chair,ESPECIALLY during Roller Practicing, there was always at least 4-5 sets of hands busy as busy bee workin on me!😆 Needless to say ive always had very long hair.

My hair took me the same. I have shorter hair than what most people have, it's a few inches past my collarbone but it's EXTREMELY thick and so annoying to deal with. So many hairties and pins to put in just for uniform day :')

There is more to being in the military than going to war. Look at the soldiers who were deployed to D.C. to keep peace. That was not war, but they were/are serving their country. So please, show proper respect to ALL who wear our military gear and who are ready at ALL TIMES to serve their country doing whatever needs to be done. A soldier is a soldier no matter what - full stop. Oh AND....being a mom negates her from doing her duties? There are many moms who are in the military and just because she is doing this video on how to do hair properly is helping women figure it out. My niece was struggling really hard to get her hair done right when she was doing ROTC. She would be in tears because if you don’t have it done properly, you get in trouble. It was a huge issue.

@@moondae4154 absolutely. My boyfriend tells me stories about how his uniform has to be extremely specific, down to the inches of where the buttons on your shirt are placed.

@@moondae4154 no it really doesnt. For Marines it just has to be neat and pinned and below your cover above the neck. It really depends on when. During pt training, hair can be loose as long as it's up (ponytail, loose braid). When in full uniform is has to be neat. It doesnt have to be a specific type of bun. Or you can have short hair. The uniform standards itself are stricter. And it varies from branch to branch. Marines is typically the strictest across the board.

She’s very beautiful! As former army, the bun had to be low enough to wear your headgear properly. It also couldn’t be past your BDU collar. We didn’t have those cute outfits. We had yucky brown t-shirts and couldn’t wear them without our BDU jackets. I joined soon after 9/11/01. I can’t believe it’s almost 20 years ago!

@@MsMe-wr1le it means your measurements. The tailoring measurements tape. Max waist in the Navy is a 32 for 34 yo and under. 33 for 35 and older. Thats just the women. Idk Marines but they're usually more strict though. Longer runs, etc.
