How to get to the Tropical Wilds in the Pikmin 3 Deluxe Demo 

I can confirm that it is not required for you to hold a Yellow Pikmin during the Charlie section.

I find it fuggin hilarious that the devs wanted this game to initially cater to speedrunners, then they put that wall there that checks for charlie being unlocked to get through.

I tried the glitch myself but my fingers hurt so much and then the part where I have to go over the cave... I fell so I gave up

bruh they coded the WHOLE DISTANT TUNDRA (minus the enemies) AND THE TROPICAL WILDS(with enemies mind you)

I was trying to get to the boss but ended up where the yellow onion is then I walked out which trigger the Brittany getting out of the cave scene which made the day timer start

I'm trying to get the star section fruit in the area where you have to throw yellow pikmin on the trampoline, did I miss that in this video or did you not do it?

Update- I was able to get to the part where Charlie has to hug around the invisible barrier unlocking the rest of the map. Any tips for that part?

i own the game on the wii u and the switch i lost the cartridge but now i can play a diffrent level without having to buy the game again :P

I believe the reason that the full game actually is included in the demo is because some demos have the full game, but then add restrictions that prevent access to the story at a certain point. But with use of glitches, you can time warp to certain story events that take place after the demo's restrictions prevent you from accessing them. This is why Side Stories / more Defeat Bosses stages can be unlocked in the demo as all the files still exist. I think its either to save time on the demo and focus more on polishing the full game or just pure laziness.

Okay, so how is this so cool. This is actually a similar idea to one I had, where Charlie could use his 30 yellow pikmin to defeat the Phosbat and find the yellow Onion. I also had an idea that, if you had access to the Tropical Wilds in the demo, that you could somehow cheese the Three Captains puzzle, speedrun through the Sandbelching Meerslug fight, and gain access to Twilight River, thus being able to beat the game in the demo. This glitch could make both of my ideas possible!
