How to Repair, Fix and glue broken hinge Audio-Technica Headphones. This time damaged Audio Technica ath-m40x studio headphones glue job with plastic welder gun, superglue and baking soda hack. This superglue trick can use also to fix another broken headphone headband and hinge plastic. You can try use glue gun to repair broken headphone part. I can say, that superglue together baking soda and metal staples are the best way to fix a broken headphone band, hinge or other plastic element. You don't need search for expensive epoxy glue, to fix broken plastic part. Just use Superglue and Baking Soda. Thanks so much for your brilliant, and also funny repair videos! I have the Sony MDR 1000X headphones and they are broken on the side, where they apparently usually break most often. Would you recommend using a hot plastic welding machine for these headphones too? The top outer plastic part is only about a millimetre thick, so I'm not sure if that is too thin for melting metal parts into it with that machine. Or is it enough to just do the baking soda super glue trick?

metal always gives extra strength, but if you don't have space for metal, you can use baking soda only. I have for gluing repair two 1000mk2 and 4 models, I will definitely film the gluing process

I used your initial idea and melted metal needles as reinfocement in the broken hinge itself, I superglued the hinge with “instant cement” and then cut off the needles and grinded them to needed length. the hinge is now working perfectly, fold and swivel (till next time, anyways lol)

HELLO BRO I AM HAVING A ISSUE IN LOGETECH G PRO X HEADPHONE. THE THING THAT IS HAPPENING IS THAT WHEN I INSERT THE WHOLE WIRE IN THE IPHONE JACK OR INSERT IT IN THE THING THAT IS USED FOR LAPTOP I CAN ONLY HEAR MUSIC AND BARELY HEAR ANYONE VOICE BUT WHEN I ONLY INSERT HALF OF THE JACK THEN THE WHOLE SOUND IS COMING I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO AS THE FULL SOUND SHOULD COME WHEN I INSERT THE WHOLE WIRE AND NOT WHEN THERE IS ONLY HALF WIRE INSERTED. PLS HELP ME FIX THIS ISSUE:(

@@TechscrewDIY there's one in Thingiverse that, however, loses the ability to fold the headphones and there's another one that should retain it. Went with the ones that cant since they're easier to print and put the wire in. My M40x broke on the same part as in your video. Had to remove the ear cup though and unsolder the wire to remove the broken piece out and put the 3d printed one in. It's been like this for almost 2 years now
