I have installed rope to my pull up bar and when I could not get up from my bed, I crawled to the rope and pulled myself up without using any core muscles :) Worked like a charm in the first 3 days of unbearable pain.
My neuromuscular occupational therapist tells me to lean over and keep my back straight - 8 to 10 inches forward…. and it works sitting down… but getting up it hurts my back. My back has actually gotten worse. I have a bulging disk on my L5/S1. Should I stop? I see videos saying you can lean forward to get up , but then Bob and Brad say you’re just asking for problems if you lean forward ….?
