I made a 0:53 seconds YT video today. It's my longest for now. My goal for September is to make a 5 minutes YT video. Try, fail and learn is what I do after I begun creating content for YT. Helpful video and easy to understand.

Thanks Vanessa. I'm not a beginner but definitely want more growth! Always good to listen to your reminders. My biggest issue is CTR so I've been really trying to improve titles and thumbnails. Funny enough you gave the example of Quitting your job, whereas my channel is all about ESCAPING the 9-5. The content is relevant to many but I guess I should probably make the titles much more narrow. Maybe using How to quit as a female solo income earner....or is that too narrow? I'm thinking again.... :)

I've started taking selfies in different poses for the thumbnails when I make a video, I'll take lots so I can choose my favourites and use them for multiple videos, it's made making thumbnails a lot easier and it's fun, like a mini photoshoot.
I ordered a microphone yesterday, I can't wait to try it out! I went shopping yesterday because we were getting a new coffee machine so whilst my parents were looking at that I looked at the microphones as I wanted to see one in real life and couldn't find much information or reviews online, and I saw one with a tripod and it looks so cool and professional, I'll feel like a proper RU-vidr! Unfortunately they didn't have one in stock so I ordered it online. Never used a mic before so it will be interesting to hear the difference it makes! I feel like I'm really getting serious with my channel now and I'm so excited to watch it grow even more 🥰

Rewatching a part in the video doesnt always mean its something good the creator is doing. Sometimes I rewind bc I didnt understand something so maybe that could mean that the creator should simplify something theyve said/showed. 🤷♀️
