Thank you for this video! As a new RU-vidr in phase one, I often find myself getting frustrated in the production process because I want my videos to be perfect. I am slowly beginning to let go of that mentality and its been helping in other areas of my life. I am like you-- I have always wanted to start my own channel since I was a kid. Now that I have garnered the courage to start and stay consistent, it's been one of the best decisions I have made. Message to new creators: do not give up on your channel, IT WILL GROW! My follow video also popped and my third video is doing well too. 10 days ago I had 280 subscribers today I am at over 8000 and over 600,000 views on my last three videos. But you’re right I went through many valleys of death, so thank you for sharing your story and encouraging us to keep going. I have watched the valley of death concept in Tony Robbins and Dean's 5 Day challenge .. but the way you owned it and made it so personal to your own journey was mind opening.. currently struggling to build my own channel , not seeing growth , views , doubts building up in my mind, self doubt creeping in and then your example of a creator uploading 1 video a week and giving up in 3 months i.e. 12 videos to actually decide just hit home. It took me 2 years of hesitating before I finally started my RU-vid channel. I've finally done it and so far have successfully uploaded videos! "Just do it" was what I told myself when I decided to do it. I'm just starting and not getting views yet but my mantra is "just do it" ✔️

Hi Vanessa, you are not just a content creator ceo and your other skill set, but I also see that you are an excellent public speaker, you shows off your true confidence in this 38 minutes video, that's great, you covered so many important and helpful information in this video. My biggest takeaway from this video are: phase 1,phase 2, phase 3 and phase 0. Actually I am at the phase 0 stage, but I am confident that I will move from this stage soon. You talk about the valleys of death, tube buddy, how to stay relevant, the secret sauce, growth, know your analytics , click threw rate, watch time, be concise, have a strong hook, be more engaging and shorter intro. However, you cover much much more in this video, I mentioned the above information as my brain can only retain so much. I was making a video thanking all the 510 subscribers before I could upload the video I came to my channel and found that 1 subscriber unsubscribed and I now have 509 subscribers. The most important thing is consistency. Just start and dont listen to your friends and family. They will try to talk bad. And also important. No perfectionism. It will cost you to much time. Just do it and upload. You will growth with the quantity of your Videos.

This is one of the channels that gave me the courage to start my RU-vid channel 7 months ago about self development. Now I have 729 subs and > 200 hours of watch time. I know it’s not comparable with others but I’m still proud I started because I’ve been learning so many lessons that I could haven’t learned without getting started in the 1st place.

2023 is my year. You're phenomenal at sharing your story and I really loved watching this. Interestingly, everytime I compare myself to you in a particular area, the next story you share tells me why I should never have. Lol. For example, I used to beat myself to stay on one product "like Vanessa" only to hear that you actually stayed there because of some personal insecurities that had nothing to do with actual business decisions. I guess at the end of the day, we all must find our truth and live by it per time.
