Love these tips! I came here from the content crew email, I just want to say that your emails are great, give lots of valuable information and straight to the point and I love how personal they feel
I understand why removing chapters helps and I didn't really notice that there weren't any as I always watch the whole video anyway, the only time I realised was when I wanted to watch again to see how to make a quote reel as I couldn't remember what the site was for getting the background video so I just had to find the right point in the video, which would've been quicker with chapters, but still it didn't take long! I think some people are just lazy, can't be bothered to find the bit they want to watch themselves or don't want to watch the whole thing. But I know for me no chapters is fine!

But with the new Instagram update, Instagram replacaes the normal video format to reels. Instagram now has more push over reels. What's your opinion about it? PS: I love Carousel.
That’s what I was thinking. Personally, I think eventually they are going to get rid of feed posts. They’re already taking big steps to phase them out now, especially with Instagram experimenting with the TikTok style, continuous feed xx

I was doing so well on instagram and suddenly instagram stopped pushing my content. Everything I post is now a flop and I cannot understand why or what to do 🥺
@@VanessaLau I tried carousels, reels, normal photos. Even tried switching up my reels and experimenting, but nothing is working and my reach is laughable. I’m so lost. It’s like instagram killed my account for no reason. Other friends are experiencing this as well
@@Sarah_academia I’m experiencing the same thing and it’s greatly discouraging me because it shows that no matter how much effort you put on your content, if Instagram decides not to push it for whatever reason you just wasted your time creating said content.
@@BrokenDoll7 Come on, there is no such thing as IG decides not to push your content, I will tell you this, during the 5-20 mins when posted if viewers don't engage with that post-IG algorithm won't push it because it feels it doesn't attract views. The question you should ask yourself is how often you also engage in other people's posts, which will also help your post boost.
@@Sarah_academia How much engagement do you spend on other people in your industry posts, that's the question. IG is not only about posting content but posting valuable content along with Engagement.
Hi Vanessa, I'm having a very frustrating experience using instagram reels. Only one of my reels that I put hashtags actually appeared on the hashtags for new people to see. All my other reels that I put hashtags, they don't appear there. And there is nothing wrong with the content because I have seen other accounts post the exact same video with hashtags and their post appears on them. Also, my account is not shadowbanned because I checked the status. Any insights?
