Also do not root in direct sunlight! Bright indirect light. Water from beneath not the top. You got lucky.

You should never put your cuttings in the root hormone container. Shake some out on a paper towel and dip the cuttings into it. Throw away any unused powder. Avoid contaminating the hormones.

Awesome! I think I'll try this as well. My cuttings didn't make it with rooting powder. Going to try water and soil for rooting and see what happens. I really do love your content.
