One of the best and most realistic videos I have watched that didn’t stress me out lol. I have 4 boys and one is a baby and I am always busy and this was so doable and I don’t feel anxious stressed or frazzled, you are so right when you fixate on views you get frustrated 😊 and yes take responsibility will make me research and make better stuff and not blame tiktok lol

I feel like the algo is having a hard time figuring out who my new content is for (and I probably have a lot of followers who are no longer interested in my videos). That means they were flagged for a policy violation. You can appeal them if you think it’s a mistake but I would try to figure out what policy it is so you don’t violate it

Do you have any tips on higher quality videos. I have a galaxy 23 ultra so I know my camera is good. It looks good when I record it looks good in the uploading stage of tiktok but when I uplode it the quality reduces. The data saver is off so that's not the problem. Would appreciate any help!

I think it’s decent content(of course I’m biased) but just can’t figure out why I’m not getting anywhere. Seeing other accounts having very few videos like 20 to 25 and having lacs, million views with lots of followers. I’m glad you’re enjoying the content. You should check out my video about choosing a niche, I think that will help. There isn’t some perfect niche that I can recommend to you, and I can’t do the work of researching and choosing a niche for you. Choose something that you’re interested in and knowledgeable about that has wide appeal and you’re good.

My partner and I have been working on individual TikTok’s for a while after her original account got shadow banned, she tried two new accounts that got shadow banned really quickly too. Her most recent one she completely changed the niche to the same as mine and completely disconnected from her old accounts and made sure she stayed within the rules but it still got shadow banned. Are we missing something here? We can’t figure out why she keeps getting hit with the shadow ban.

My Problems I think I have with my TikTok content… • Grabbing attention within first 5 seconds • Keeping people watching for the entire video • Consistency (not posting every SINGLE day) Those I feel are the big 3. Everything else I feel will come with time by making more/different barber content. (Quality, cuts/edits, being comfortable infront of camera, type of content I make, etc)

Hey Mike, my videos are 13 seconds long, and I get 9.20 seconds watch time with 35% completion rate. This is a new accounts and I have 3 videos, all three videos are stuck at 650 views. Is my watchtime to low, or is the account new or what is going on. Because I feel like 9 out of 13 is a decent watch time ration. Thank you.

You can’t really know outside of comparing the topic of the videos that always do well. You can retrain it but it sometimes takes a while and views will suffer until it adjusts.

I’ve never heard of that style video. You’ll have to do the research to tell if it’s still trending. But with trends, recency matters. A video that got a lot of videos a month ago may not perform as well today.

Hi mike. Got a question. I had tiktok shop and I had 59 orders but had to cancel it due to delivery timefram. I refund them all in single hour and my tiktok shop got banned. But I also switch from business to creator acc. Now i barely get any views. stuck at 300. I used to get well over 10-20k view. What do i do. Do i make a new acc but than the content or product im selling will look like im stealing the idea from the previous acc. If you delete the account you can make content like that again. Just don’t repost the videos from the old account. They need to be new.

Praying you’ll see this, because my stress levels are high rn - I’m using my first account, there’s been times I’ve tried to post consistently but lost touch over the years, and now I’m in a situation where I can take it more seriously am I okay to keep using this one or is the history gonna tank my growth?? View wise I’m getting consistently over 300 views, and most over 400 views which I’m happy with for where I’m at in terms of my journey but I don’t want to invest myself into it if the odds are against me to actually grow my account (as a new subscriber I know the chances you’ll get back to me are slim, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed)

I respond to every comment so you’re good! You’ll be fine. Just commit to posting now and that account will still work. If you’re really worried about it just start a new one and be consistent from day one. If you don’t have a ton of followers I would recommend the new one just for the fact you won’t be second guessing if it being an old account is hurting views.

It just means that your videos aren’t performing well enough for the algorithm to push them to more people than that. Focus on stopping the scroll and improving retention. Those are the most important factors to getting more views.

Creator account is best. I would just back off on posting frequency a bit and keep posting to see if it comes back. You can also check the analytics of the video to see if they are no longer eligible for the FYF which would indicate policy violations.

i just started posting on tik tok and i actually think i have a decent content (i make anime edits) why i think i have decent content? because i did what u said in other videos (research) and i ve inspired myself from the biggest "competitors" in doing the same content (good quality , good transitions , good songs , new trends and etc. ) . im consistent aswell but for some reason i think i do not get recommended to the correct people , i also make short clips like max 13-14 seconds and i get an average of 4 to 5 seconds on most clips. I would appreciate some advices!

forgot to mention when i started , the first 5 6 clips made about 1k views each then 2 days in a row i think i made a spam where i posted about 6 7 clips a day cuz i got excited , tiktok probably categorized me as a spammer and next 10 clips got less than 50 views then i stopped for a day , then i restarted the whole process and posted max 3 clips a day with some hours gap between them , i noticed that the clips i posted after spam made 200 views then next 5 of them made 300 views now i make about 400 views per clip

It definitely sounds like you got throttled for spam, but that’s only temporary. Now it’s just about improving the content. Reducing swipe rate and improving retention.

Probably not. The content you publish has a bigger impact than those things. Make sure your content is relevant to a specific audience, then just be consistent and it will figure it out. Most of the time low views are due to poor retention more so than not being shown to the right audience, unless the creator is posting a bunch of random stuff.

Hi Mike. A friend of mine got accepted into the creativity beta programm a few weeks ago. He uploaded a few videos which got a good amount of views, but he only has an RPM of around 5 Cents. How can this be? Shouldn't the RPM be much higher in the creativity beta programm?

Not necessarily and it really depends on the niche as well. The RPM is based on how much an advertiser is willing to pay for the ad placement. That’s much lower on TikTok than it is on YT for example. So RPMs don’t tend to top $0.50 for most niches with $1-$2 being the very top. It doesn’t pay as much as YT and even with ad revenue that’s not going to be a full time income source for most. It’s usually the lowest of your income sources.

I have about 5 accounts.. I do the hooks, I copy what’s trending in my niche & tweak it to my personality, I have giant colorful captions with 3-5 words every line, I use trending sounds etc. I start off getting 900+ views but for some reason after about 10 videos TikTok always seems to put me in 200 view jail every account… some of them get up to 60 likes a couple comments & saves so I know the video can’t be that bad… it feels like TikTok hates me, what should I do?

TikTok doesn’t hate you, it just means that too many people are swiping past your video or swiping off of it before finishing the video. Those are the main metrics that matter not likes and comments

Don't know why December was great was getting millions of views, but this month it hardly passes 50k views don't know why, maybe because it was around Christmas, but this month has been slow to be honest. However i did delete 5 videos with low views and think that may have something to do with it too

That may have impacted it honestly. You shouldn’t delete videos. Seasonality is also a think. There’s a lot more views when people are home for the holidays instead of working.

Remake it! One of the great things about TikTok is that you can make similar content many times because it’s always shown to new people. Eventually you will hit the right combo of target audience and a better variation of the video and it takes off.

I post videos daily, but everytime I post it(I have all my suggest my account turned of) my friends will get mentioned and she will click on it and not like it or watch it... I started an account December 31st and got about 80-200 views per video. I then started another account 3 days ago to upload in a different niche. Now I cant post video on the first account I created. I upload a video it gets posted, but when I refresh the page it gets removed. I don't receive any notification or explanation as to why it was removed. This has been going on for 3 days now. I have managed to upload using the scheduler on the website. Ever heard of any problems like that?

There is a maximum video quality you can post. 1080 I think. So if you post higher quality it automatically gets adjusted down.

Hey Mike just created an account 1 day ago and by your tips I have 2 videos that have more than 10k views(one is now at 19k btw) and two others are like at 2k but I got a question I still get views and like but When I post a New video it doesn’t get the views like stuck at 100 Why ? Thanks you

Well if you started one day ago, you may just be posting too frequently. If you look like spam they will throttle your views. It’s temporary but don’t over do it with the posting. Beyond that views just come down to performance. If a high number of people swipe past the video or don’t watch it until the end then it will get low views.

Zero views is either a glitch or policy violation. If it’s happening often you should start over. Check out my video “stuck at 200 views” to learn how to solve that issue.

I clicked on the video because ive been off and on with this tiktok account. I only have 360 followers but i used to get 1k-15k views each video, but since ive been back im only getting 2-300. I feel like my videos are just as good if not better than before.

They might be, but you’ll likely have to build back up since you haven’t been posting regularly. TikTok expands the reach of creators that post daily and consistently for a long period of time so a drop after a break or period of inconsistency is to be expected. There’s also more competition now than a year ago so views will be lower for the same quality video.

TikTok is AWESOME for weight loss coaching. That’s one of the biggest groups of people I work with. You just have to be careful with language because there are restrictions about what you’re allowed to say. But that’s true for pretty much every single social media platform. Just don’t do unhealthy, extreme restriction content and you’re good.
