Hey brother that was a great information on vtec Thank you. But you missed out to show about vtec head solenoid valve which is the main difference between B15B and B15C Engines, 🙂
Great information brother! I have a 1.3 Exi.... Here in Noida... and I want to restore it to, how and where should I start, looking forward for your restoration!
We bought a same car 5- 6 years ago. City vtec 2002 model. Unfortunately at that time i don't know about vtec's. & I'm belong from typical village area. Due to it's low ground clearance & Spare parts availability we had sell this car. But when i got internet & slowly Slowly gain knowledge about this one, Then Missing her. & still now i upset for her every time every minute, every second 😭
You forgot to show the vtec solenoid…all other vtec car specific stuff from the video can be faked…but the vtec solenoid cant be faked…thats the 1st thing to identify the real vtec city
Hi brother, im a honda city fan since my childhood days!! Im planning to buy the same gen maybe next year just for the body style of the late 90's sedans irrespective of the engine configuration. May i know the real mileage figures in city and highway? How much would insurance cost and clutch replacement too??
Highway fuel efficiency - 13-14 City fuel efficiency - 9-10 Insurance is approx 5,000 per year (third party) Clutch replacement is approx 7,000 with labour
Nice video. Btw, even the upholstery was different for vtec. I heard this for the first time that the b piller was black in colour (i dont think so). The original spoiler and original dual tip in perfect condition are so damn rare. Chrome garnish around no.plate was only for vtec. Vtec had alpine stereo system with remote and 12 disc cd changer which was inside trunk. Can you pls share your insta id? I own a VTEC as well and has a lottttttt of issues. Video madta hota :-)
Great knowledge bro.. Need more videos of the vtec.... I am also interested in buying a used vtec.... But confused between the civic and the City vtec....(type 2) ..... Could you please suggest something...
It I very difficult to source parts for the #Civic, hence I went for the #City. And it is also rare to find a #HondaCivic without a CNG fitment! Sad but true
@@AdityaJadhav bro I have Honda civic vmt Variant 2011 Dec model. Still runs like new one and never got CNG installed so far. Let me know if you want it. I am planning to sell out now.
No, you can see it on the valve cover. if it is a #VTEC then it is written on that just like how it is written on my car. Or else it is writtenHyper Valve 16 , that's the non-VTEC #HondaCity
@@irfanhub2045 Hyper Valve 16 engine has 96-98hp and it does not have high-lift cams. That #engine revs up to only 6,750rpm (approx), the needle goes above 7,000rpm but that is supposedly an analogue meter error.
