This maybe wasteful but I removed the red strip prior to install and covered it with blue painters tape. Allowed me to position it better and peeled off effortlessly.

Very good video, you got a subscriber. You are the first person I see using screws instead of rivets. I always wondered why not using screws instead of rivets. Can you advise on the pros and cons on rivets vs screws?

Thank you for watching! I always decide on what to use based on what I am working on. But in this case I am able to screw into the body of the car and it is still strong and yet it is easy to remove if needed. Making it easier to change the part on the ground if needed and not have to try to drill out the rivets. But that’s just me you could use rivets not a problem! Have a good one! Scott
