@@wayofthewrench Not in secondary school. I took classes as a two level, certificate course at my local university years after. The lecturer pounded the theory into our heads and the practical classes were so detailed and easily explained it made for a seamless transition from book to work piece. I suppose your detailed, yet easily understood way of teaching reminded me of my lecturer and class days. Of course, I'm always learning. So regardless of whether they serve as revision or new material, I'm subscribed and looking forward to future classes from you.

Visiting here from your VPin videos. Great video - as always. I appreciated the info regarding the rear main seal as I have an older car that has a small oil leak at the junction of the engine and transmission. While I will not be doing the repair myself (if we even decide to repair it), this is useful background to help me understand what may be going on. Thanks.

Great video but wow this is complicated. I had no idea how much work it is to replace a clutch. So many connections and bolts and I know for me it would be so hard to keep track of what goes where. It's probably even more difficult on a German car I would imagine....

Yeah it's a bigger job for sure but if you record the parts being taken off and label/bag everything, it's not that bad. The hardest part is the actual removal/ install of the tranny and aligning the clutch disc properly. Thanks for the watch!

Hi, please could you tell me why it wasn’t necessary to bleed the clutch system on this one after replacement. Or is it because the slave cylinder was outside the bell housing? Thanks.
@wayofthewrench
@wayofthewrench Месяц назад
It wasn't needed because the slave cylinder was unbolted but the hydraulic system was not touched/opened. It does state to replace the slave cylinder during the clutch replacement but it is an easy enough part to change after if it's needed. Thanks for the watch and welcome to the channel!
