The kit we purchased included the parts to adapt to the carb. I have seen booster vacuum ran at either point. I also have a 1969 corvette with 427 and it feeds from back of carb. I will check to see if my book has a vacuum chart and try to get back with you. Thanks for the question please subscribe for future videos.
This is definitely one of things I am going to do to my 69. The only question I have and am not really sure of> I always thought the power brake Booster got its vacuum from the intake manifold? Am I wrong? I know on the intake manifold there is a connection that there are vacuum lines running to. I always thought you just had to change it from a 2 line to a 3 line vacuum connection.
The kit came with a vacuum line that went to the back of there carb. some power brake systems are off the intake but I think the original c3 corvettes went off the rear of the carb. Thanks Ghouls Garage
So I went on line to Zip Corvette and looked up the conversion kit for my 69. It appears in the description and photo that it "does not" come with that tool. Did you buy that separately or did it come with your kit?
I ordered it from zip and the gage came in my kit. I think they got it from www.cssbinc.com they also have a video and sell the kit. I also bought one from jegs performance.
