Can you cut it with a utility knife like you did for the outlet ?

You could have used a wall plate spacer on the electrical outlets. But I actually never thought of using beadboard for a back splash.

Why wouldn’t you remove the baseboard before you put up the beadboard? The trim always goes on last.

Does beadboard need to be whitewashed or painted when used in these applications?

I did for the backsplash, but some come prepainted and it primed.

@@brianrehmann do you mind if I ask what type of paint or treatment you used? Would the prepainted and printed be suitable for backsplash as is? Sorry for all the questions, I expect to be using this in an upcoming project and trying to figure it out. Thanks

@@rb4382 we used a semi-gloss. If it's printed I'm not really sure. It really just depends on how pourus things are and if they can pick up moisture or not.

This project would have looked so much better by either spray painting or replacing the outlet covers... a big payoff for little money.

Next time it might easier to change your shirt rather than editing out all the shots of the other logo. Just sayin...

Not when you realize you’re wearing the shirt AFTER you’ve already filmed yourself cutting and installing the board lol… you’re not gonna pull it back off the cabinets and redo it man cmon
