I only recently purchased a dragy that can keep track of run times. I plan to find out in a future video soon.

So chargepipes were an issue with the past gen (F series.) They were notoriously bad. But you shouldn’t have any issue running the boost that jb+ provides in stock parts. If you were to get a JB4 or BM3 and start running a higher boost , say an extra 6+ psi then i would consider changing out your chargepipe to be safe.

I upped it to the 3o clock setting. That’s likely what it will come with stock, and I’m happy with it.

. Simple answer, the 330 with the msport package had everything i wanted for nearly 10K less. If you’re looking to track a g20 then the m340i will be better but even then it’s not really a track focused car like real M’s. Funny thing is I actually originally planned to get the m340 and even had one lined up but as you can see i went with the 330. I’ll make a video going into more detail soon.

Jb+ is great! I enjoyed it a lot while i had it. A great First mod besides its so easy.

So the nice thing about jb+ is uninstalling is super quick. So simply uninstall before taking your car back to the dealer and you will be fine. The ecu will adapt and the car will return to stock automatically, you won’t have to do anything on your end besides removing it.

Hmmm, just make sure you’re following each step. Then you’re going to completely floor the brake pedal and quickly floor the gas pedal. If you press the gas pedal to slow, it doesn’t work properly.

do you need to code to get sports + and launch control? my 330i m sport 2020 doesn't have it stock

Are you turning traction control off?

Did you ever find out why? I have a 330i g20 and the same problem

It came with my car, no coding needed. If your car has an S Mode then it has launch control. Does yours not?

I‘ve seen people activating LC with BimmerCode. Activates "launch control" in EGS, 3000 Applikation, Funktionen, "LC". Also make sure your Auto hold is off otherwise LC won’t work.

afaik there is a 5 min. cooldown time (but yes, you should still not do it too often, even if the car "allows" it)

Was the battery disconnected when you installed? I would try Disconnecting it, and plugging in the oem connectors to confirm the check engine light goes away. If it does then try connecting again but make sure the negative on the battery is disconnected. Make sure it’s fully plugged in on both sides, you usually should here a click when plugged in. If check engine light still showing up then you may have a faulty jb+

@@rearwheeled8147 I didn’t disconnect battery, but I did give the ECU about 10 minutes to shut off it, I’ll try your suggestion. Thank you!

Yea, hopefully the ECU didn’t wake up somehow and cause that issue. Give a try and let me know how it goes! Hopefully it resolves itself. If the light is still on after uninstalling the JB+ Try driving a few miles as well and see if the check engine light goes away

@@rearwheeled8147 also do you know if I can use bimmercode to identify the CEL?

Unfortunately Bimmercode cant be used to read a CEL

To unplug jb+? It’s the exact way you unplug the oem connection. If tight just get a small screwdriver and loosen it that way like i did in the video

@@mujahid9117 wedge it just underneath the plug to loosen then pull out at the same time. You’ll need a thinner screw driver but it should pull out fairly easily once you do that. You definitely should’nt have to use a lot of force so don’t pull too hard.

You should also be using your thumb to press down on the grey piece from the top of the plug to loosen and using the screw driver to loosen from under.

So with a 5 min install you get up to 30 wheel hp and 40 Wheel torque. These are estimates from Burger Tuning on the 330i and I’m assuming it’s slightly less. Still i noticed a difference on the F30 I had so it definitely works. I’ll have an update video with how it works on my G20 once i start feeling results.

@@rearwheeled8147 Was just wondering if you really notice any difference when in Sport + mode with JB plugged in? Also is there any significant change in consumption when using JB+? Also great videos and explanations. Keep it up 👍🏻
