Exhaust Sounds: 2:20
This is the easiest way to get an insane amount of pops like an M340i has. I can't wait to try this when the temperatures drop to 70F. In this video they are over 100 so the frequency of pops reduces and it is still amazing. The car has come alive and I highly recommend you add sport plus.

How does this work on the g20 330e? Extraboost is the mode where you gain 100hp from electric and it does not make pops and bangs after coldstart is over. Its the 330i engine

Hi man I have an important question on this, I have a 330i Msport and it has a Sport plus mode which opens up a flap in the exhaust. Is this coding in addition to this?? is it an alteration of the already Sport Plus mode? thanks!

In the USA we didn’t have sport plus so all I did was enable the mode/feature that you already have globally

I just did a muffler delete on my g20 2019 330i non m sport and In sports mode I get pops like crazy nothing else and have taken my car to bmw dealers for oil changes and vehicle inspections and they haven’t mentioned anything even with a dinan performance intake so that’s the safe route here

you can just select Sports individual and it will change the sound of your car same as sports plus.

Hey man, nice video. I have a question about this feature. If i enable pops and bangs while the car is in comfort mode, does it use more gasoline like if it was in sport stand? Or is the gasoline usage the same no matter what stand the pops and bangs is enabled? Thanks my man!

Pops use more gas, I’m not sure how you’d turn them on in comfort mode though. They come on in sport mode or sport plus mode

No you’d need a map tune from BootMod3 or JB4. Those will run you around $500!

My European 330i doesn’t have cracks and burbles (shipped October 2019). I tested a 330i before at BMW and it did had the burbles. I consider buying this adapter to try and restore the burbles.

Yes and no. Yes because your car was shipped without those features turned on, so if service have software that check stock configuration of your car (using vin) then it is possible to detect that. BUT those are features created by bmw not by 3rd party so it shouldnt be a problem. The best option is to ask bmw service.

Only engine/performance modifications that will shorten up the drivetrains lifespan will void a warranty. Cosmetic mods such as using Bimmercode will not void your warranty but to avoid any complications and play it safe make sure you code everything back to stock upon lease return or if you decide to take the car in for service. BMW can only void warranties from you self servicing the car(DIY oil change gone bad), piggyback tunes, ecu tunes, performance upgrades such as bolt-ons. Coding is 100% safe and it’s all for cosmetics! it’s the equivalent of literally wrapping your roof black so the car looks cool... that’s as long as those mods don’t cause damage to the car lol but they don’t because again they’re cosmetics not performance.
