@@ibelikeword Hey man! Thanks, I do actually have one question - I did the steps in your video there and it all seems fine except the buttons for ISO and aperture, they don't seem to work/do anything. I double checked in settings and they are set - any ideas?

@@NeillRobinson That’s interesting. Only thing I can think of is possibly your camera is set to automatic iso. To change that. Make sure your Camera is in Video mode. Press Menu button Go to third camera Tab If ISO Speed is set to Auto change to any number value. Then it should work hopefully. Let me know. @@ibelikeword Hey man, thanks for the advice! It really helped. The key was indeed going into the canon settings and changing a bunch of stuff there, setting everything possible to manual pretty much! So now I am well on my way on the EOS journey! The ship has only just left the port but I'm on my way! I got some test footage yesterday, just some footage of rain fallng on stuff in my garden that I put some nice music to, just for test shots and to have a play with MLV app and editing RAW video in Davinci resolve. I defo screwed something up in my colour grade / workflow though as in one of the shots you can see the red channel (on my car's tail light) is clipping super badly. So I need to spend some time learning more about colour grade and what the best process is for working with the RAW video format. Some tutorials are saying export cinemaDNG into Resolve, others are saying do basic grading in MLVapp and do prores4444.. I only really got into this about a couple of weeks ago when I bought a miniDV cam at a thrift store and discovered making videos was a lot of fun, so the learning curve is still very steep for me! I'll get there tho.

Why does it appear with lines on the view afterwards? I keep getting the message "movie recording stopped automagically, flushing buffers" or "skipped frame. stopping video.." on a t4i/650d

Yo I apologize brotha I’m Just seeing this. I hope your problem was resolved. From what I think it could be that what your shooting is a bit over exposed maybe which causes the shoot time to decrease
