Yes it was helpful. When your front windshield is not tinted, there’s no need for overly bright LED fog lights, especially the bluish non-healthy ones. Halogens produce a proper and reliable white light (check out CRI output) that help you see better while driving and your sight is more rested after a long drive. Great tutorial.
