I’m restoring running boards from a 2000 Ford Explorer and I had to remove the bolts which were held on by push nuts and normal nuts. I destroyed most of the push nuts but I’m glad I found the exact same type that Ford used in the late 90’s on eBay, as they’re still made today.

install is not problem ,remove without demage is problem !

Thanks Pesag for your comments. Push-Ons are designed for one-time usage, and yes, they are difficult to remove - but they hold tight!

Thanks for your comment Mark. Push-Ons are lightweight fasteners designed for one-time usage. They have a grip that won't quit!

@@advancecomponentsinc That is true. I just don't like stuff that has one use only but now that I've dealt with them I do see the reason they are used in certain applications. So maybe not so bad.....
