this stuff really works. Last week I was 13 years old, 5"6 and only had a 3.1415 inch vertical. After using these tips, I'm 17, 6"3 and have a 62 inch vertical. I dunk in every game. Thanks!
+Lin Lin Curry Yeah thank God my 6´6´ cousin came visit and I got to spent New Year´s Eve with my family. My arms still hurt but Im gonna try again before my cousin leaves XD
+andrew van den oever hey you need to know that follow wrong method can make you get injuries,if anyone else is searching for jump higher, try *Imodstyle jump higher report* (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now ) ? I heard some awesome things about it and my partner jump 3 inches higher after 4 weeks
I'm 1 inch tall and could just barely touch rim. Now thanks to this video I can not only dunk a basketball but I can dunk one whilst jumping over the hoop
Thanks to playing the Mario games, I have increased my vertical by 84 inches just by playing videogames. I have also discovered how to double jump. My total vert doing the double jump is 368 inches.
Guys this dude is telling the truth these tips do help a years ago I was 13 and 5"10 after I had watched this video I was grabbing the rim like its nothing now im 14 and 6"2 and dunking
I am 14 and 6'4, about 2 weeks before watching this video, I could barely dunk the ball, it didn't look fancy or cool. It looked like a struggle. Now, I am proud to say I gained at least 4 inches to my vertical and when I dunk people woot and shout. I can cock back my arm and smash the ball in with my legs stretched. This video really helped, because I was a major stutter step. I told a couple of friends about the tips in this video, and they are working on their jumping too. Thanks a lot
I'm 2 years old ,12'3 (short for my age) And have a 99 inch vertical I've been trying ever so hard to grab the rim but I go to space Plz help! I'll give u a cookie! Pece (By the way I'm in WWE , I'm currently known as "The Rock")
This increased my vertical by four inches! Thank you so much for these tips. I am now past halfway from the net to the rim! I'm going to start leg workouts and hopefully I'll be able to dunk within a few months! Wish me luck and thank you again!
I'm a fetus and I'm 4 inches and I have a 2.5 mile vertical reach and I can touch rim on a 30 ft hoop but I can't dunk on nba standard hoop. What should I do? I
Stanley Green Oh, I see the problem here. I've been a coach for 20 years now and I'm 3.98 inches and have a 3.4 mile vertical reach and i can do 34560 degree windmill dunks. During my long career in coaching, I've seen people encounter the same problem as yours. What you need to do is attach 40 kilogram weights to your thighs and find a wooden 7 foot closet. Now, that you've found the closet, you will enter it while chanting Scotland's national anthem. Once you're inside, you'll find a magical unicorn and a short african-american dwarf speaking gibberish. Pay close attention because this part will get tricky - next thing you should insert the unicorn's horn into the dwarf's anus and say "I'll dunk on the nba standard hoop." 3 times. Once you've done this, Adam Sandler will congratulate you and lead you to a pair of portals. You will pick the first portal because the second one leads to a certain death. Once you're back to the real world, you will be able to dunk without even trying. Good luck, hope I could help!
Yo I'm 4 years old, 10ft 11, and I have a 756" vertical and I need help. 😖 Man I really hope this will help. I've been playing ball since I was 2 and a half minutes old. And I'm only a Junior in highschool.
Good news, I am now 17'3, I can now jump 444423231 inches, I am so close to dunking. P.S my 2nd birthday was sick, my mom got me some Jordans size 2, they are too big though
fuck guys.. believe it or not, one night i had a fucking dream that i could dunk, and i swear, i was happier than a princess with a unicorn, then i woke up. shit, life is cruel as fuck. now i'm on a quest to jump higher, but im only 5'4.. dunking is nearly impossible.. i need major help to accomplish this dream of mine.
I'm from England and a student-athlete college soccer player in America who's never played basketball before. Being only 3 inches away from the rim every time I jumped, this video instantly made me touch the rim. Thanks Guys!
Thx ,I was like an inch away from touching the rim,now I c wat I was doing wrong,I believe everyone in the comments can learn something from this video, and I hope every last one of u achieve ur goal
I'm a light dunker and I've been having trouble jumping on concrete, your tips got me to the same higher I can get to the same place as i can in a gym!
thank u coach im a two foot jumper 5'10 sophmore and all i can do is tip the rim ill prolly be able to do better with this since i use stutter step and when i put my chest first i realize that focuses more on jumping far than high ill tell u how i do once it stops raining lol
My standing vertical jump is higher than my vertical jump with momentum. Today I used the techniques in this video. Although there was a big improvement in my vert while running. I noticed I'm unable to generate enough power from my legs and core to touch the rim. However when stationary, I can get low (squat), and flex my muscles. In which gives me the strength needed to grab the rim.... How come I can't generate enough strength needed to grab the rim while running ? FYI I'm a two footed jumper!
I'm just making an educated guess here, but I would assume you're not running fast enough on your approach. When standing still, like you said, you can get power by taking the time to get low, flex, then explode upwards. You don't have that same luxury when running- most, not all, of the kinetic energy you need comes from your speed on the approach. Also, focus on using your entire body when you run jump. Core, arms, legs and head. All important stuff. Hope this helps!!
Hey adam, the other day i did my first dunk and then proceeded to do about 4 more dunks! before leaving the court. your video has help me reach my 10 ft goal. especially the point you make at 3;15 about making sure your body is upright and more verticle when on your approach to the hoop, i think that point alone adds a few inches to the jump
I'm a 36 yr old ex athlete, now I'm 6'3" 209 lbs I don't train anymore or play ball but I still can dunk it just hurts now. However, when I was 13yrs old I could touch the rim in the middle school gym but couldn't dunk yet. My freshman year of high school I ran track,(hurdles 110 and 400) and 4x4 relays. When basketball season hit I was dunking like a pro with ease I was 6'0" by the time I was a senior when I dunked my head was above the rim. It was mostly due to all of my hurdle jumping training and leg strength training it helped that I was only 170 lbs in school also. In other words due specific thigh, calf, and ankle excersises, stay lean and loose and most importantly stretch everyday. Hope this helps.
My vertical went down. When I was 15 and it was the basketball season, I was fully grabbing and wrapping my fingers around the rim off of 1 and 2 feet.. Now I'm 16 the season has been over for a few months and now I'm barely getting my fingers over the rim. I do all of these, but I've been tired from weight training in school. Might as well give it another try
I'm 5' 8 230lbs couldn't even touch the backboard. And swear I watched this video 10 minutes ago and was like, "okay; posture was the reason I couldn't do it." But, I swear it worked. I'm writing this as I'm leaving the park in disbelief. I got all the way up to the middle of my palm on the backboard. I feel like shit what would happen if was 160. Great video!!!
This works instantly. I used to be able to touch the first hole in the net at the bottom and I'm 5'6. The other day I saw this and we were playing around at school just jumping to the nets before practice, I did this technique and now I can touch halfway up the net. I don't know how many inches I gained but this definitely works.
2kgod FTW that's not bad if you think about cuz I'm 5 feet an used to only touch net but now that I'm getting more athletic I can get backboard but u could do the same to
dude this helped so much I'm 6'5 250 I thought the only way to jump higher is to loose weight but after watching this I tried it and fixed my stutter step I am NOW dunking easy thanks man!!!
I'm 14 and 6ft2 and I'm only able to touch the net, I dunked once and landed badly and got multiple leg injuries in rugby and I feel my jumping capabilities have diminished... Any advice?
sorry to say this there is nothing you can do about. My coach dunked a lot he was about 5'3! But he got injurried (his knee bend). It been years he can't jump anymore, he can but not even close to what he did before.
Hi! am 6'6" pulled off a one handed dunk on an 10.5 ft rim, Thanks for the tips :) Funny thing! I can't windmill & 360° dunk on a regular 10 ft rim. How can I windmill & 360° dunk in a proper form.
WARNING: DO NOT WATCH UNLESS YOU ARE REALLY PREPARED TO TAKE OFF INTO OUTER SPACE. honestly my hops suck because I just have weak legs my hoop is 9-5 and I could barely touch it but after practicing this way a couple of time and fixing my problems I grabbed rim and had to let go because I thought it was going to fall on me.....this is some crazy mess..BEWARE!!!!!!! im 5-7
I used your video advice on jumping higher last week so today I was playin basketball and used those techniques and jumped so high I didn't realize how high I was until i easy grabbed the rim without my arm being out stretched but I messed my wrist because I hung on the rim with my right and when I came down to break my fall I messed my wrist but totally worth I was always touching the rim but now I'm totally able to dunk the ball thank you for the help I'm goin to refer be to this video to improve there jump thx
+Tom Sweeney (JuGGerNaut Gaming) bro I'm same height as you but 14 and I'm 1inch away of touching the rim but your hand has to be above the rim to dunk😭😫
+Golden_ Sh0t Well for starters, I played basketball and football my whole life until August of 2015, because it would interfere with marching band. Marching band was a HUGE contribution. We needed extremely strong calf muscles to march backwards. So we worked those out often. I go to Planet Fitness and work out my legs every other day. I'm up to doing 350 pounds with 10 reps, and 3 sets, with a 30 second cool down between each set. Then, I'd go to the YMCA and play 5 pickup games. After the games, I stand under the backboard and jump and tap it 50 times in as little time as I can. Best of luck to you!
Chances are, your muscles haven't even finished developing yet. Don't give up hope though, just keep at it and one day it will come to you. Not intending to be pushy about this, but as a result of listening to my coach telling me that stretching is a waste of time, I'm no longer able to play basketball. So seriously even if it seems silly, warming up and stretching is as important as drinking fluids.
Jordan Ware do that but do it through plyometrics and HIIT's because once you lose excess weight, it'll be even easier to jump. I went through a similar phase too.
Yo, I am -9000 years old, and I look like Elvis Presley on steroids, I only jump a .01 inches and from this vid, I jump .011 inches now. Thanks Mario Jumpman Mario for yelling me this information that most people wont use.. (not all, but most) XD
First of all, i am not black, i am white. Second of all, i am not cheese, i am Elvis. Third, calm down, everything will be just fine. You arn't anyone important so get your panties out of a knot and chill Scat bob.
I've been doing these since I started dunking last year in 8th grade, he spent so much time on this video and without even trying it yet, I knows he's legit 🙌 thanks
