Hi y'all!! Since we're all stuck in the house I'm spilling ♥ INSTAGRAM: @snitchery ♥ TWITTER: @snitchery ♥ TIKTOK: @babysnitchery ♥BUSINESS: eleanorhbarnes@gmail.com
Seeing all these comments abt how she looks beautiful with her dark eye circles makes me feel really good about myself. I also have hereditary eye circles and sunken eyes and I’ve always hated the way they look, but now I might be able to see them in a different light
It really looks good on a lot of people! I dont have dark circles really but i have i bags so they dont look good. It looks like my eye socket is puffy and the rest of my face isnt.
god YES please do an "I actually look bangin in person and not just in photos" tutorial. this is where I feel the majority of beautubers videos are lacking. in reality, all of those fleeky behind a camera looks, look awfully cakey in the flesh. I'm a natural makeup/no foundation kind of gal anyway... so this will be right up my alley girl! thank you for posting today.. I needed a pick me up.✌🏼💓🌻
for my homies with acne: the easiest way to cover it up with only a little bit of makeup is spot concealing. literally use like an eyeliner brush with concealer on it, put it right on the spot, and pat it out until it matches the rest of your skin (NOT until it’s perfectly covered.) hope that helps
That's how I'm using foundation for my whole life, and I have lots of acne and rosacea. I think it looks better on me than full coverage, not to mention that skin on my face is bluish and on my body it's intense yellow haha
L you’ll probably find it weird but i actually intensify my dark circles with makeup bc i find them soooo COOL, i always found women with dark circles badass aha. maybe it’s just me, but yeah, embrace them!!! (blank white under eyes look fake AF)🙆♀️
literally, when quarantine happened I stopped wearing makeup and my face has been looking 100 times better and now I can walk around outside or do anything without feeling insecure.
It might be because they could be from the same state, or similar area of the country. I have no idea where snitchery is tho so. Who knows but I never noticed either.
i always get so sad when youtubers apologize for their "ugly face" when they don't wear any makeup, like :(( you weren't UGLY at the beginning of the video (and I might just be a weirdo but I actually adore eye circles and the like) and I know it's not meant to be taken super seriously but I think we should all stop apologizing for our bare face. we're neither ugly nor beautiful, we just out here existing
The Vaseline on eyelashes work so well. When I was in middle school and high school I wasn’t really allowed to wear makeup except for cheer and this is what I would do. I love this tip so much!
As someone who’s been dealing with acne for years, I’ve come to realize that it’s okay to not cover your acne! It’s a normal thing that so many ppl go through, and not wearing as much on my skin has helped significantly. If you do wanna cover it up I suggest just using concealer just where you want it. And if you deal with scarring I suggest aloe Vera gel, I hope this helps!!
putting on cold (from the fridge) Aloe Vera Gel every morning has helped me so much with my acne, it takes away the redness a bit and it moisturizes without being oily, it's been such a game changer for me!
@@TolaMady Then get a skincare routine. I've got oily skin and I love using oils and moisturisers on my face because it helps to combat the oil; your skin is oily because it lacks moisture.
Bumble Grumble yeah, but comedogenic stuff like Vaseline can block the pores (even if your skin is clean) which drives your skin to produce more oils. Blocked pores and oily skin cause oilier skin

The good thing about this quarantine is that I can just wear a mask at the grocery store that hides most of my face instead of doing a no makeup makeup look lol
lol I'm always doing only half my face, once I had to swallow my pills and all people around me saw my half face done and half face red, oily and covered in acne haha
How are you keeping your sanity?? I'm someone who cannot live with someone and my son and bff have been living with me full time since April and I'm literally having a major burn out already
@@neuswoesje590 LMAO who said i was keeping my sanity loll ok jokes aside actually, i have no idea how i haven't been driven mad yet, probably bc i'm used to it?? it's been like this for a looong time, so maybe one day you'll get used to it too!
Since I was little I’ve had dark circles. I started wearing makeup at a young age, encouraged by my Mother who was frustrated and self conscious of peoples assumptions. I have gone through times where I felt like I couldn’t go ANYWHERE without makeup. During the stayhome I’ve been trying to undue this mentally. I love your energy, your super empowering, so glad I found your channel I look forward to catching up💕💕
when you gua shua you should never do it on a "dry" face, you should be using it with an oil so the tool isn't dragging harshly on your skin causing premature wrinkles!
PSA from working in a pharmacy, it's definitely not recommended to use eyedrops like those for too long. They work by narrowing the blood vessels in the eyes to reduce the appearance of redness BUT it can cause rebound redness over time, actually working against you! also love ya eleanor!
@@fridam2022 I don't necessarily have any product recommendations but instead I would just use these types of drops more sparingly/strategically so that you can still use them every few interval of days etc. I'm just an assistant not a pharmacist or otherwise a healthcare practitioner so I'd recommend asking someone if you have the chance or doing some thorough research :)
This actually isn't true for Lumify because lumify is atypical in the sense that it's doesn't work on the same receptors as all the other red eye drops. Lumify is the exception that doesn't cause rebound redness.
I had NO idea gua sha has become a beauty thing, my mom taught me to do it and lets me "scrape" her back with oil when she is sick or has back pain to ease tense muscles and increase circulation. It really helps alot!
Anti-redness eye drops can actually make your eyes more red over time, I'd recommend looking it up and checking if the drops you are using have a similar effect.
I would really like a skin care routine video, i know it's very personal but maybe a video about the essential steps? What's the difference between day and night routine, what should we take into account when we build our own routines and stuff like that? I have my own but I don't know how to improve it or if it's in the correct order etc. Like basic steps to choose products ❤️
A lot of Jade rollers are not made out of Jade, but that doesn’t mean it’s not made of some type of stone. Most are made from various forms of Quartz and many “Jade” rollers are actually Green Aventurine, from the Quartz family. So as long as it’s stone and not glass, it’s perfectly fine. Unless you are into crystals and want the benefit from Rose Quartz, Amethyst, etc. *The way you can tell if your roller is stone, is if you leave it out at room temperature, it will still be very cooling whereas glass will not be.* Also, I checked out the video you referenced, and she is using the tool wrong, which can actually further age you. You should always be pulling or “scrapping” the tool gently across your skin, not pushing your skin around...yikes!
@@missinglikenemo3149 Oh my goodness *YES* !! It does actually works. It takes away alllll the puffiness. I keep my "Jade" roller in my freezer. Bonus: It feels so freakin good! *note* If you apply an oil, such as Jobaba, grapeseed oil, hemp, rosehip seed oil, any of those noncomedogenic oils before doing your jade roller it helps with tugging and pulling your skin. It also helps active serums seep into your skin much better. One other tip for under eye bags: Green tea bags. Just soak them in warm water. Then you can cool them in fridge/freezer or just allow them to cool naturally, and place them under eyes. Or over entire closed eyes 🥰.
I'm in tears. I am unfortunately not stuck at home and have been a makeupless, semi-depressed essential worker going through a hard time. Your video came up on my timeline and watching it made me realize how I NEED to take care of myself and the tips you went over are so doable and helpful. THANK YOU 🙏🏽
you need to use an oil because if not you could cause pre mature wrinkles. coming from a skin care specialist plsss take this seriously dont do gua sha without a face oil or serum omgggggg
Something to note about Gua Sha: it can potentially agitate existing acne and worsen inflammation, especially cystic acne. Not saying this will occur for everyone, just something to be mindful of! :)
person of no importance because essentially imagine you have acne yes? You are agitating it by rolling something over and over again on said acne. It will cause inflammation which worsens it. It’s like taking a bruise on your knee right? And constantly hitting hit because you think it will make it better. No, it just doesn’t work :p
person of no importance : Gua sha brings blood flow to the face. For normal skin types, this adds a radiant glow. If someone has red, irritated, inflamed acne, this added blood flow can worsen the inflammation. If you just have a few breakouts here and there that can be avoided, you can potentially just work around them. But I wouldn’t recommend using the tool directly on acne, especially cystic. I’m not claiming to be an expert in facial massage but I have worked in the beauty industry for 7 years and this has been what I’ve found from my research and experience. Again, all skin types are different and everyone can respond to Gua Sha differently. It’s a beautiful, ancient Chinese medicine ritual and it’s great for lots of skin types- acne prone skin just has to be cautious! ❤️
In elementary school I always want to wear makeup but my parents didn’t want me too. So I pinched and slap my cheeks to make it look like I had make up on.
I did that when I was 7 and eventually ended up rupturing a blood vessel on my face. Got the idea off pinching my cheeks to make them pink from a either a Jane Austen or Little Women movie. My mom asked me how I got a bruise on my face and I told her... She thought it was hilarious.
Glitter Life ALTERNATE ALTERNATIVE ALSO try the just for men’s beard dye for freckles! i use a bobby pin for application, they last about two days for me
C Joe i’m a redhead and i bleached my skin for two years because i hated my freckles, now here i am adding to my freckles 🤣 but i do like having more control over the pattern
i do have face moles and when i was a teen had acne, and one friend use to point out at my face saying i have freckles and that they look good, but i was so embarrased and always told him is just acne, but he still say is freckles. sorry for bad english
This is exactly what I needed today! I've finally gotten my skin and hair to a place where I feel like I dont have to do much and I still feel good about myself but there are some days where I've been so tempted to just put on a little concealer even though I know I shouldn't. I've been really trying to embrace my natural look during this time, so thanks for this video girl!
it's so good to see one of these kinds of videos made by someone who has dark circles.. i've always felt embarrassed going out without makeup because my dark circles are so bad and there's nothing i can do to fix it, but this video kinda makes me feel like they're okay and maybe i don't always need to cover them :)
my dark eye circles are just as bad! ive been so so self conscious about mine my whole life but you make me so much more confident! ive never seen such a beautiful person with them😍
I just want to say you look AMAZING in your natural, makeup-free look. I watched a lot of your makeup tutorial videos and I always wondered what you look like “in real life”. Girl, you are beautiful! I love no makeup days. Basically I’m doing what you’re doing during quarantine and giving my skin a chance to breathe and repair itself. As always, thank you for the tips and tricks. FYI: A lip scrub technique I use is to “brush” my lips with my toothbrush and then apply lip balm. I’ve been doing the eyebrow brushing thing, the Vaseline on the lashes thing, and sleeping on a satin pillowcase for a while now, so I was happy to see those tips. ☺️❤️
you shouldn't use eyedrops that often. Like using a pore strip, it's an evil circle. The drops constrict your blood vessels and that can cause them to become even more dilated
This actually isn't true for Lumify because lumify is atypical in the sense that it's doesn't work on the same receptors as all the other red eye drops. Lumify is the exception that doesn't cause rebound redness.
Koraima Diaz don’t bite your lips it will cause tears in your lips and that will further them being chapped. Use the back of your toothbrush or your toothbrush to rub off the dead skin
I recommend hydrocolloid pimple patches for anyone struggling with acne. The right ones almost have a blurring effect. You can conceal while helping your skin!
I feel like no matter how many videos I watch of snitchery I never really know what she looks like , like idk if I would recognize her in public if that makes sense?? always changing up her look 🦎 but beautiful every time!
I needed this😩 I’ve been trying to not use foundation etc to be kinder to my skin since i’m staying inside but feel so groggy and unmotivated with a no-makeup look so I’ll defo try some of these
I love the idea of makeup for in-person!!! I’ve been thinking about how many makeup tutorials aren’t built for outdoor or natural lighting. That would be so helpful 🧡
I've been trying new makeup styles since we've been on lockdown, my favorite is the liner done on Barbra Streisand in Funny Girl (1968). I usually disinfect my rollers with 91% alcohol. (if y'all can find it. )
1 minute in and you said “maybe it’s the Libra in me” and being a libra myself I fullllllly understand and relate! Also libras are simply the best let’s just be honest ❤️
I've always had quite a bit of acne, but one time my friend told me my zits actually look cute because they blend in with my freckles. Since then I realized she was kind of right and I've stopped putting concealer on my acne. So it's really cool to hear someone like you say that freckles are a great natural concealer! Something that didn't occur to me till I was in my 20s! (Didn't help my super awful acne phase though...)
I was just telling my girlfriend this morning I keep having the inclination to get made up without actually wanting to put on makeup. Thanks for coming through with this!!! 💖💕❤️
I’ve been binging your videos for a bit and I would love a beginner makeup tutorial and the beginner necessities before going advanced whenever you have the time 😊💕✨
