Do you ever pondered how in the world are you supposed to join two valley flashings on a metal roof? Ponder no more! in this video we take you through a process of how to join two valley flashings on a metal roof. The application we’re working on is a standing seam/concealed fastener metal roof system. However the principal can be applied to regular metal roofing valley flashings. Only less complicated.
Here are some of the tools we like to use, these can be found on amazon via the following links;

I watched this on my TV and couldn't comment. So I had to get my phone to say what an excellent job you did, and how good the quality of the video was. Great job!

Great job! I like snapping a chalk line. Center bottom to center top. It takes out any imperfections in having a straight valley due to bad framing and also makes for fast application! 👍🏻

I like that hem. What manufacturer is that? I’ve put in two standing roofs but the valley flashings were plain, no hem.

We like it too, we got it from an Amish Metal Shop, A small local manufacturer. And they have a 21’ trim break so that’s can make it that long. But that shuts the way they make them. It is harder to join of you have to make a splice. But beings we could get 21’ we didn’t have to do that a lot. Some manufacturers make a z bar that gets screws onto the valley flashing with beutle tape under it, to create the hem.

Yes I believe so, We call it standing seam. Or concealed fastener.

What steel do you use? Brand?

I don’t know the brand on the metal itself but I know it is 29 gauge. And The paint is a valspar weather XL, with a 40 year warranty and doesn’t fade as quickly as metal you’d get from Menards.

I think that was a wafer screw head. I could be wrong. It has happened often

Tidy work, only thing I noticed is you have the snips backwards. Reds are left cut and greens are right cut because that’s the direction you can cut with them.

Thankyou for the observation, What I meant is that the red is right hand operated and green is left handed operated.
