litterally me last night but couldnt breathe so i fell asleep at 3 had a nightmare then woke at 4 45. and i also fell asleep again at 8 woke up at 10 fell back asleep and woke up at 12- i hate being sick. water tastes gross but i drank so much water that i felt like puking ate 1 mini pizza roll because usually makes me feel better but i felt so gross i still havent eaten.
@@bigdawg723 yes im all better now! It only lasted about 5 days, make sure you sleep and drink a lot of water, it helped me a lot. I hope you feel better soon 💕
@@lovleynoir I’m so glad you are better❤️ I actually can’t sleep worth a dam and it’s driving me insane. I’m getting a covid test tomorrow to make sure it’s not that but my only worry is not being able to see my family during thanksgiving this Thursday. I might not be able to travel and it’s really heart breaking. 🙁
At the first hint of a cold, I come out of the gates storming... At 4 hour intervals I do 2 things... First, I alternate between gargling salt water and using a neti pot until all of slime has been evacuated from my nasal cavity and throat. Basically, I give the cold zero place for refuge, and the earlier on I do this the better the results. And two, after blowing out the nose and throat with the salt, I drink alka seltzer cold/flu... daytime for the day and nigh time for night. And MOST importantly, do the routine before you go to bed, once in the middle of the night, and once in the morning. Do not allow the cold to re-establish itself while you sleep. And for good measure, even after I no longer feel cold symptoms, I do 2 or 3 more rounds of the treatment for good measure. And throw in some vitamin C. I must stress the importance of getting used to using the neti pot... If you just gargle salt water 9/10 the stupid cold will migrate into the nasal cavity and establish itself there... And if a parent (or whoever) ridicules you for using a neti pot, pay no attention to them they aren't the ones getting sick.
@@electron7659 haha its this little teapot thing that you use to flush out mucus. You put the spout into your one nostril, tip the liquid in, and it comes out the other nostril. disturbing but it works like a charm
@@Humiliated1234 On 4 or 5 occasions I stopped it dead in its tracks, less than 24 hours. On 3 occasions less than 2 days. And for a really bad cold like COVID 3-4 days. The sicknesses just don't drag on for days and days or weeks and weeks... And the only drawback is, nostrils that might get a little raw from all the salt exposure... but for me, it was an easy tradeoff...
Congratulations on your marriage! Garlic clove, juice from 1 lemon, inch of ginger, pinch of cayenne pepper, 1/2 tablespoon honey and hot water. Take this twice a day. Blessings! ❤

I like this action plan. Doing something makes me feel better than just waiting for it to pass, even if this stuff only improves how you feel a little bit.
All of these things are helpful during a cold, but you won't be kicking a cold in 24 hours from this. It takes time. One thing that knocks out a sore throat in 12 hours and gets rid of the discomfort almost immediately is colloidal silver. One teaspoon under the tongue for 30 seconds do a little gargle then swallow do that three times in one day
Here's how i do it: First sign of a cold, say you get that weird scratchy, dry feeling in your throat whenever you swallow, its not sore but you feel something, that's post nasal drip, take liquid tea theraflu, it has guaifenesin in it, get the kind that is just for chest congestion and cough, nothing else, sip it, along with lots of water. Keep drinking water, have a stuffy nose instead? Afrin nasal spray works like a freaking charm!! BUT you can only use it for 3 days max cause it is damaging to your membranes and if used too much it can make it worse) I use afrin cause oral decongestants and things like dayquil make my stomach hurt. Also I sip peppermint and ginger tea. And also sleep with a humidifier especially if you have a cold in the middle of winter like I do.
Take zinc during the first signs of a cold and drink a crap ton of water. I used to get a cold 3-4 times a year and now its about only once. Do some light exercise and eat a lot.
To feel better? I disagree.If I still lived near the sea,I would go for a sea bath right now and would feel much better afterward.I've had that experience multiple times in my life.I feel better and sleep better after the sea.
I hate when ppl tell me to get some sleep. I’m sick rn and literally have been on and off since 12 and it’s 10am now it’s been up and down ever fricken hour. Literally an hour a sleep at a time.
I have this big magical audition coming up really soon (an advanced choir that I have been wanting to join for years) and I've gone all of of this month without catching a cold and Bam right before I have to audition I get a cold. 😫
I usually don’t get sick I had my wisdom tooth removed have been eating Ice cream , cold yogurts not sure if that’s the cause I never get this bad when sick lol
Me sitting in work watching bcuz I woke up this morning with sore throat ,stuffy nose , stomachache and fever . And 😭 😭 😭 I was waiting for this week to done to attend a Concert Friday night
How are we supposed to get any rest if we have to keep doing something nearly every hour? Just wondering. I still have to go do 2 hours of work in the morning and again in the evening. Wish I could stay in bed
I am a class 1 lorry driver. Basically a truck with a massive trailer at the back. I had the worst cold in my life and I had to drive all night. Worst night in my whole life. Had to stop over 5 times just to get out the cab and have some fresh air. I drank 2 paracetamols but they make you sleepy which made my night even worse. Stoped at7am in the morning and went straight to sleep couldn't sleep much only 4, 5 hours woke up and drove again for another 9hrs still sick now 😑 😒
maybe if you can get the right combination of drugs and vitamins, you could get a working cure for some people, or as a temporary cure for the common cold
