It is really really hard to know actually. The only thing you can do for sure to know is ASKING or telling that you have a crush on her just to see it’s mutual. Remember: when someone likes you, it shows but if someone doesn’t like you IT SHOWS MORE

i had a crush on a girl who was in a few of my classes last year and we would always make eye contact and smile at each other, but for some reason I thought she was straight and completely convinced myself I had no chance. but we flirted like every day and once when we were sitting face to face for an activity, she pushed her leg up against mine and we both kinda just awkwardly sat there LMAO. looking back, i think she was into me too or at least curious, but it never went anywhere because 1. I never made a move and 2. Covid hit and we stopped seeing each other in classes. now it’s really awkward when we see each other around and idrk what to do about that. plus, we’re going in separate directions in college, so we probably won’t see each other again. now i just feel bad for leading her on and making things awkward lmao. it also really sucks because she’s the first person I’ve actually fallen for and been completely infatuated with and i feel like i only ever fall for people i think are unattainable but ANYWAYS, if ur reading this comment, just make a move. worst thing that could happen is you get rejected and at least you’ll get some closure out of that

there’s a girl I like and she’s my close friend. our entire friend group was watching a scary movie and she put her hand on my thigh. I proceeded to put my hand on top of her hand and we stayed like that for like an hour. so obviously I thought she liked me but then she told me another time about how she has a crush on two people (neither of which were me). so I’m very confused. I don’t even know whether I actually like her but I still want to know how she feels about me. edit: just watched the part about cats being gay lmao. I feel like I should mention that she took me to a cat café (just us and her family) ;0 ! also I know for sure that she’s bi heheh edit 2: remember how I said she told me about her two other crushes? well folks, she told one of them she liked her today (the girl didn’t feel the same way, I don’t know whether I should be relieved?) but uh yeah I’m just more confused now. i’ve had very similar situations with friends… and yeah, didn’t work out. can be for a number of reasons why someone does obvious flirty things but it doesn’t go further. sometimes people are just players. sometimes if straight girls know you’re not, they flirt with you for some weird validation thing to build their self-esteem. other times maybe deep down they do like you, but because of really deep internalised homophobia, they’ll never be able to admit to themselves. those are things i’d suggest, especially if y’all are younger, cause a lot of those reasons are more common amidst teen angst smh. anyway that’s just my experience, hope it helps! it is very understandable to be confused about mixed signals even if you’re not sure if you have feelings for her

Ok I want to ask if these could also be signs: 1). She often ask why do I like being her friend again when I tell her about a girl I like. Like when I told her about this one girl she wanted to know her personality and what she wears and then asked why I like being her friend 2). She does not have a crush on anyone else but always opens up a bit too much to me 3). She is always talking about my sexuality. Like one time she was listening to music and asked what would it be like if we were the only people on Earth and had to figure out who you are. I jokingly said lol what if I am a pile of peas she said no i mean sexuality wise. 4). Before I came out as bisexual she used to always tease me about my crushes and joked about my sexuality if I said something kind of remotely lesbian-ish. 5). Everytime I go over to her house she always plays some love song. She also gets jumpy when I say something about liking someone
