@@TheSalonGuy no problem man. I have some advice though, if you're working with dark hair maybe dont wear a dark shirt as well, it's kinda hard to see. Otherwise very informative vid
Brill vid, thank you! My elderly mum stuck in hospital without access to her hairdresser (20 years custom!) She just missed the 6 weekly hairdresser visit & will be quarantining in a nursing home for 14 days amidst continued restrictions. I gave her a trim 2 weeks (no cut for 3 months!) ago. Thanks to you, I feel confident to cut her layers shorter & follow the line of head round the back. Kudos from UK, Sir! Will find your Patreon page!
Wow I’ve really needed this video because for some reason, despite the fact that my stylist is a really good one, i still feel that the layering on the top is a tiny bit off. I guess he isn’t used to cutting mens hair since most of his clients are women. Now i’ve something to show him (and he actually likes your videos btw)
Yeah. Most barbers or hair stylists aren't even that. They're just a one trick machine idiot making thag one dude who cuts his own hair the most alpha dude in town because everyone else looks exactly the same
Thank you for the video Steve. I have a fine hair and want to grow the top part of my hair. but, I am still wondering whether to layering or texturing my hair. Can you make the video to explain the difference between them?
dude ur the only RU-vidr that understands people's situation. yes i hav a heavily steps layered hair my bottom part of my top hair is the longest and it goes shorter til top. its freaking 4 layers of cake how to i fix this should i cut the long part to match the short part and grow it out??
i have the same exact hair as this mannequin, but longer. the hair this mannequin has is what i want for my hair cut so what would i ask for to be cut if my top sides and back is long? i’m just scared if it’s too short for me because i’ve had it done before and i didn’t like what it looked like. when i say short it was the sides and the back because it was cut with a 3 and it was still too short.
It's wonderful but what do i tell my barber in easy words? , im looking for the e-boy hair , do i just trim the sides till i get the desired length in the top and front?
Because its pulled or away. So when it falls to resting place it has a slight gradient in length rather than all to the same length (which would be a bowl
@@s_h136grow your top hair thicker first in around 3-4 weeks after you had your haircut then about how you wanna tell the barber you might need to show your barber to watch this video and force to observe them until they understand it..I tried to tell my barber once and he said he understood it but ended up fucking my hair up so I suggest you to show this video😄😄
What if you have thick AND wavy hair? Lol I’ve been struggling for so long my hair is so heavy but it’s bouncy in the back and I have a frontside cowlick, I can’t get a break. And currently I have those “steps” you described and as this point I don’t know what to do
Yahyaah XD only if the hair is disconnected, next time you go to your barber just ask for an undercut with nothing cut off the top and grow out the top and occasionally cut the sides.
