We have an F250 with a dump bed insert that will lift about 3,000 pounds. It was occasionally too small for some jobs so we purchased a 4 ton dump trailer for the bigger jobs. After 1 year we only used it perhaps 3 times. That did not seem to be the best use of that investment capital so we sold it. We might have to make a few more trips with our dump bed but it covers our needs fairly well most of the time. We just didn't use it enough to justify keeping it.
