Nice! You make it look so easy... I know I would mess it all up if I tried it. Some door skins are much easier to work with than others and mine are the more difficult ones of coarse...
Good video bro it looks like you did a really good job plus it looks really clean . I am getting ready to do some on my probe with 8 db drives an 2 Alpine 6 1/2 type r with tweeters
Looks good but if you use texturing and color match it or just rewrap the whole door it looks more uniform rather than an afterthought. Just a tip. Keep up the customizing.
@@stevenp3176 i can get 2 6.5", 2 5.25", and 4 tweeters for under $200 on amazon. They will demolish hifonics in SQ and SPL any day. It's called searching.
sorry dude i can't find the step by step vid as i have over 30tb of video footage once i find it i will upload it, if i can't find it i will make another vid for you guys
Curious, if you do door pods, do you still need to deaden the door or is it not as important if they're securely mounted? I ask because i'm on a pretty tight budget and if I can get away without, it would be good! :)
You dont have to have sound deadner. But it makes it sound 10x better. Not to mention it increases the life span of the plastics inside the car. The plastics can be quite a pretty penny, so I would just shill out the 200 dollars to sound deaden the doors, roof, and back hatch.
Yup, doesnt matter the level. It matters more about the distance. Not angle. Its best to have kick pannels. They aim at your ears, and are a nice distance. Too close and it doesnt sound as natural.
That video tell me "how to" do shit. The only thing I knew what was, was the fiberglass. What was the other stuff? Where do you get it? Etc, etc, etc.....Lazy "how to" video........The door panel was badass though.
