In this tutorial I will walk you through transforming a simple single layered image into a colored multilayered image in Cricut Design Space. Follow these simple steps to be able to make any image into a layered SVG. I found this donut under the free section in Cricut design space. First step is to add a circle from the shapes button on the bottom. Resize the circle to be bigger than your donut. Then under actions duplicate the circle 5 times. Duplicate your original image twice. The first one change to a dark brown color. The second one, drag the circle over the donut and change the color of the circle. Drag and highlight both the donut and circle and hit the slice button under the edit button. Separate the layers, delete one and save the second and the original. Click on the colored donut image and click on contour button. Click away all the areas you don't want. Repeat the same process for the different colored sprinkles using contour and selecting different areas to not repeat. For the last circle color it tan and slice through the original circle. Slice and contour. This time selecting the areas of the donut other than the main circle, This will make it easier when layering and using any material to have a near solid first layer. I hope this process helps you to be able to expand your crafting and create your own layered SVG! Thanks for watching.
