Hi folks today I’m going to show you how to build yourself in monster power banks. In fact, we are going to use recycle a battery that came from an electric scooter but following my process can recycle and reuse batteries that came from power tools or battery from Hoverboard three from an E bike and so on basically what we need is a huge battery and the voltage I suggested between 12 and 42 V in this way we can buy so cheap battery packs online and we can just use a step down DC circuit boards which basically let us control the voltage to the output in this case normal USB port needs 5 V but for safety reason, I decided to install a circuitboard that came from a real power back. This can be so cheap to find online. I’m talking about two dollars each and this little circuit board. Let us be very sure that everything is safe because the circuit boards works taking 3.7 V as input and step them up to five goals but this process is necessary to be sure that we don’t have electric spikes and everything doesn’t produce voltage spikes that can destroy the phone
I put your links as well here about the 3-D file you can print by your own. It’s very simple box with the handle that let us close all the battery in the circuit board inside but this depends on you on which circuit board you’re going to use so check with mentioned before printing
I’m so excited because this project is very simple to replicate and I’m pretty sure you can build yourself at home this power bank that has so many milliamp hours and let us have so many watts to charge the phone
But for the math calculation, I let you do for fun and find the numbers of charge. I can use my phone with this huge battery consider they build such a huge power bank just because I am docs restricted with Waze. I mean I will use this power bank, even my tent, and the way doesn’t scare me at all.
Double check all the connections and make them very tight. Otherwise it will get hot and you can raise the burn everything we are talking about so many watts so make a connection properly.
