Veal. Parm. Sandwiches. A favourite of the characters of the Sopranos, from Tony Sopranos to Agent Harris. Satriale's pork store makes the finest veal parm subs in the show, so today we will try to re-create this delectable snack.

As someone who actually had one of the Chicken variety, Parm Sandwiches in general are possibly the king of Italian-American sandwiches, so it's no wonder that most of the cast of The Sopranos have a fondness for Veal Parm Sandwiches. Thin meat cutlets, breaded, shallow-fried and served on a toasted submarine roll with mozzarella, parmesan, basil and tomato sauce. Such a winning combination!

The way veal parm Heros are done by me is after the veal is cooked, it’s placed in the bread, the sauce and cheese are added to the sandwich and placed in the oven to melt the cheese and toast the bread.

Nicely done. One suggestion: When you've got maybe 5 minutes left in the oven, put the bread in the oven too. Put the cutlets in their place on the bottom piece, with the top alongside (cut side down). The bread will crisp up nicely. You can take it up even further by adding some roasted red peppers atop the veal.

Lmao this is the WORST Veal Parm Hero ever. No Bragging I was born and raised in world famous Bensonhurst Brooklyn. That Italian Bread for one looks horrible. Nothing better then Villabate Alba Italian Bread. As far as the Veal lol that Sauce looks like cheap Ragu Jarred sorry champ try my authentic style and I put my money 💰 on it.

basil usually doesn't go with oregano. It's garlic and oregano or garlic and basil. Parsley is even rarer, mostly used in seafood dishes or meatless sauces (aglio olio, alfredo, etc).
