Hey guys, I just wanted to add extra information: Since this Turkish delight recipe is without cream of tartar it's best to consume it in 2-3 days. The cream of tartar prevents the delights from becoming moist after some time. For instance, I saw slight moistening on this one almost 3-4 days later. We still enjoyed it though 🥰 If you want to keep it longer, feel free to add 1/2 tsp cream of tartar along with the other ingredients. For those who can't find cream of tartar, you can substitute 1/2 tsp cream of tartar with 1 leveled tsp of baking powder.

This looks so good! I’m a chocolate fanatic. 🍫 I bet pistachio nuts would be good with the chocolate, or walnuts. 😋 I want to make it soon, but need a metal pan to get them even. You could put powdered sugar on the outside or, I wonder if very finely chopped nuts would stick on the outside? I originally thought Turkish Delight had powdered sugar on the outside. 😊

I love pistachios so much 😍 Chocolate pistachio and walnut covers sound so good! 😋 I used powdered sugar + corn starch mixture to cover the Turkish delight that I made with pistachios. Adding corn starch prevents the delights from sticking to each other. I think finely chopped nuts would stick on the outside without an issue since the desiccated coconut holds perfectly. I hope you enjoy it 🥰

Please, youtube, stop translating video titles into local languages. You always fail miserably! "Turkish delight" in German means "türkischer Honig" (literally: "Turkish honey"). What YT made of it roughly re-translates as "Turkish pleasantness".

After reading your comment I checked my title translation it writes "Wie man Schokoladen-Türkische Freude zu Hause macht." But do you see the title differently? That's interesting 🤔
