I always use fresh lemon juice with my golden dust and it works perfect. It dries quite fast. Oil will never be good if you are going to make some topper and paint it with golden luster because it will take ages to dry. Main thing is ratio of lemon juice to your luster dust. I think you have put a lot of juice thats why it became watery.
Does the oil have to be colourless? Most vegetable oils in my country (Ghana) are yellowish in colour... I don’t know if this applies everywhere else. Also, has anyone tried using almond essence (since it’s also colourless in nature)?
