Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I am on my 6th day of keto and I have had a loss of appetite to the point where I am not eating my daily minimum of fats, calories and proteins. After a couple bites of food for Breakfast I can go without eating for the rest of the day. ( I am still drinking water though) Should I force myself to eat more to hit my daily minimum or just listen to my body and eat only when hungry?
my pleasure! Sounds like you're experiencing some of the benefits already (loss of hunger)! For the first 1-2 weeks I'd still try to ease into it and to eat approximately the same amount of calories you were eating before. But if you're feeling great & energized already after a week, there is no need to force yourself to eat more!
My friend, blessings to you again. With me being 300 pounds, I eat 97 g protein, 114 grams of fat, and 6 net carbs. My kcal total is about 1500. I also IF (16/8) 7 days a week. My 2 meals mainly consist of 2 boiled eggs, 1 whole avocado, 2 baked chicken drumstick's, (2) servings of 4 oz ground pork, 1/4 to 1/8 cup of walnuts, and 3 - 4 cups of spinach. I also drink 4.5 liters of water a day. I add great value electrolyte blue raspberry drink enhancer to my water. In addition, I drink 2 tbsp of vinegar, 1 tsp of lemon juice, and mix it with Morton's half salt. I rarely workout. Can you please tell me if I need to decrease my fat grams? I am a little confused. Thank you.
I don't think you need to decrease the amount of fat you eat, just add enough fat to be full and then stop. If you happen to add less sometime, that means you'll likely burn more of your own bodyfat instead. I would replace the "great value electrolyte blue raspberry drink enhancer" with something without additives & sweeteners. A magnesium (eg. citrate) supplement, combined with some of your lite salt (for sodium/potassium) should be enough for electrolytes.
depending on the vegetable, I either steam them (eg. broccoli, cauliflower, green beans) in the steamer or instant pot or prepare them in a pan with some coconut oil or butter (eg. spinach, zucchini). I tend to add some butter (or olive oil) and sea salt on the veggies when they're on my plate. I don't think a video would be of too much help :-)
