Growing up I love Orange Creamsicles! I would chase down the ice cream man to get an orange cream popsicle every time I had the chance. Unfortunately this flavor isn't all that common in ice cream shops so I wanted to recreate it to the best of my ability.
Rae and I had fun, as always, making this one. There actually takes a little more thought as you need to boil down the orange juice and let it cool. Why do you have to boil down the orange juice? Because orange juice, like most fruit, has so much water in it that you want to take as much of it out as possible to avoid ice crystals forming in the ice cream.

Recipe
1 cup whole milk
2 cups heavy cream
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup reduced orange juice
1 teaspoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
