Another amazing looking recipe!! Cannot wait to try it out! I am always telling my husband that I want a gas stove (we have an electric flat top). I grew up using a gas stove and feel the heat is easier to control. I see you have an electric flat top also! With all of your perfect cooking on the flat top, I guess I shouldn't be complaining to my husband to get me that gas stove! Ha!!
This looks amazing. And yes, I like Nelson doing the taste test too. He's a great videographer and editor. He does deserve the spotlight too once in a while.
My chicken is marinating right now! I’ll let you know how it turned out late! My local farmers market actually had all of the Ingredients! Thankfully I live in an area (outside of Atlanta) that has a large Hispanic population! Thank God for diversity! I can’t wait to see how it turns out! Thank you for your videos!!
Keeping the dried peppers moving while toasting them is such a great tip. I burned mine so quickly the first few times I tried it 😂 It's also very cool seeing annato being used in marinade. I haven't tried it but I appreciate the nice even colour it adds. Hopefully it tastes good also!
Hot damn!! That aroma, has come over to my time zone LOL!!! I'm CRYING!!!! Why? Because I didn't get to taste them... I believe Nelson took one for the team though.. Because I am sure they were a little spicy LOL!!! Thanks, Nelson!!! :)
Will make this weekend..I recommend taking the chicken off the grill at 158 to 160 degrees because it continues to cook for about 5 to 10 mins while resting ..juicer meat.
Rossana, Just an update, (kinda late) I made the recipe and it was amazing, the only issue was the lack of a barbecue grill so I had to cook it on a cast-iron grill, regardless of that it was very tasty. So many flavors 🤤 Like always thank you very much, you and Nelson make a great team. 👌🏽👏🏽
Looks amazing, the best pollo asado I have ever made was with a homemade marinade I made using dried chili's. I would have made some fresh Guacamole with Serrano peppers to top mine.
Wonderful video. I liked the grillwork. Beautiful scenery. But the playfulness y'all have introduced is a major draw for me. I love the recipes but the humor is the icing on the cake. Thank you both for all the hard work!
I keep coming back to this as well as your Mexican rice recipe. In fact I am making it today for Father's Day. One question I have is that I do not have access to achiote powder, but rather the achiote paste. Would you be able to give an equivalency between the paste and the powder in your recipe?
@@VillaCocina super delish. But I have OCD, and like a distinct meat to carb ratio. We will make it again, but will add beans and reduce the corresponding amount of meat. Great flavors.
Q Rico se Ve!! Voya probar Este marinado q se ve espectacular 🤤💯🙌 P.s. I'm definitely subscribing 😜 Hermosa mujer y Hermoso receta jejej Viva Mexico 🇲🇽 espero mas recetas 💪🔥🔥
where am i going to find those peppers!!! this looks so good. You an I both like cooking, but one thing I don't do is measure tooo precisely ;) I hope I can find these peppers locally... they are expensive here in Canada amazon.
Watching you behind the grill, holding that stick and wearing that black apron you look like a pretty witch stirring her cauldron. Hahaha! Well, I’m sure you make magic in the kitchen. Ima try this chicken. Looks bomb girl!
@@VillaCocina I just finished watching it!! Definitely going to make this for the familia on Sunday. And agua de jamaica is my favorite, so I'll be making that also with your recipe. Those grilled onions made me think of my dad (que en paz descanse), those were his favorite with carne asada on the weekends. Thanks for another great video, I look forward to each new one.
This is I think the 12th time we've made this recipe. The most common reaction we get from people is "this is the best chicken I've ever had in my life."
Already looking forward to the video :o) Before too long I would like to buy one of those pellet grills, (instead of dealing with charcoal, etc…) do you have any experience with those at all? Last week we made the crispy tacos from a few videos ago :o) (the ones you made crunchy in the pan with avocado oil) it came out super yummy!!! Anyway, Blessings to you and your family :o)
If I buy them at the Mexican store-órale is a good one. I actually left the links to the dried peppers I use from Amazon, in case you want to check them out.
@@VillaCocinaThank you. I watched the video on my TV which doesn't allow me to view the description area. I'll pull it up on my phone and get the link for the dried chili peppers. Love your recipes! ❤️ 😋
