Perfectly done! The Plancha is an awesome accessory and mine has been living on my grill since I got it! Great tip on the water drops, I will be using that! Cheers!
Great video. You absolutely picked the right person to do this demonstration. Burger looks delicious. Now, do I want this plancha or the cast iron drip-n-griddle from SNS? Ron
Hi - My SnS Kettle Grill User Manual, page 22 towards the bottom, says "To extend the life of your grill, make sure that hot coals and wood do not touch the walls of the grill." It seems SnS is concerned about eventual damage to the porcelain enamel coating. Thanks for a great video!
Yeah, all porcelain coatings will eventually deteriorate with exposure to the kind of heat generated by lit charcoal. Thank you for reading the manual!
A 26 would be a great addition to the lineup. Smashburgers are fast so simply just keep putting them on the plancha as people slowly get their burgers ready.
Great cook Greg, burger turned out great! I love my SnS Plancha and have turned out some great food. But question for you, do you know where I can get your Ballistic smasher? The 5mm one has been out of stock for many months online at cast-iron-grate.com do you know if they are still being made or where else they may be available? Thanks.
@@SnSGrills Hello SnS, I was asking Gregg, I noticed he was replying to some messages so thought I would ask. Sorry for the confusion. With that said, if SnS offered something similar one day, that seems like it would be a great accessory. Thanks.
amazing burgers as always!! One question, how many minutes do you cook the patty on each side? If i have a 120g patty then how much time usually? Thanks!!!
I asked him and he said "With a Smashburger, don't go off of time. Go by what it looks like. Flip is when you see steam and juices coming out and holes appear in the meat. It will vary by the thickness of the smash." Hope this helps.
Serious? It’s a professional technique called Mise en place. Look it up. Plus it helps when shooting video to move things along and prevent forgetting something. Greg is a total pro.
