Thank you Tammy! Enjoyed this tutorial immensely. Appreciated getting right to the project and the process flow from material cutting, block construction to row assembly. Very clear and straight forward, excellent guidance on how/why to press toward the main color vs. sash and finally open for strong quality finishing of the quilt top.

I wondered why Tammy didn't orient the position of the iron so that she could comfortably pick it up. Every time she took it up and put it down she had to twist around to get it on the base properly. Thanks for the downloadable pattern.

My question is: when buying your kit, where would I find backing material for the quilt.? I use Shabby Fabrics tutorials & I learn so much. Thank you!

That's a great question, thanks so much for asking, and so glad you've enjoyed the videos and are learning a lot. :) This kit doesn't include backing fabric. You would pick your own (you need 3 1/4 yards for this quilt). This would be beautiful for your 11-year-old granddaughter! :) Let me know if you have other questions! - Morgan

Noticed the work space and tool orientation issues more than Tammy not being comfortable. Also like having variety in instruction, being a new quilter and watching (a lot) of videos recently I quite appreciated a new face :)
