Bro I can stare at your car all day .... I remember back in 93 I was just a kid we visited my uncle in LA and my cuz had a 88 fox gt wide ass wheels built motor going 10s NA and I remember going in an out the garage just to stare at my cuz car it was addictive and satisfying and today I have one of my own 🙏🏻
I really appreciate all the information you're helping a lot of blue oval people out here. And I would like to know about your paint I have a hatch LX t-top and it is black also. But yours is a deep color appreciate any information that you can share long live the foxes!
I had a set of 315 Nitto 555R on a 17X9 that fit like yours in the back. I went to the Mikey SS like you, but in a 275 and they work great (400-450hp 393 NA) With your power level you need to have a 15 incher with some sidewall and give up some looks lol...oh, and the Flowmaster pipes out the back have a bunch more room. Your tires are rubbing the exhaust when you turn and the rear is moving ever so slightly left/right. Great video, thanks.
I’m pretty satisfied with my staggered 10th Anniversary Cobra wheels from LMR with some Cooper tires I got from Tire Rack. Running 275’s in the rear. It looks pretty awesome. Have no rubbing. Fenders not rolled, but with no quad shocks. Hey but don’t get me wrong your set up looks kick ass!! 👍🏻
Great video I got an 1986 SVO I want to now what’s the biggest I can put in the rear I know you don’t like the quad setup but I hate to remove it just would like a little more beef My rims are the stock 16x7 They have 205/50/16 all the way around If you can help thank you Great Car you have enjoy
Good info, I totally agree that rolling your fenders are a must, from personal experience...... back in the day I had drag lights with ET Streets, didn’t have the fenders rolled, pulling out of a gas station, suspension compressed on the drivers side, sliced the sidewall. When a wrinkle wall goes flat, it’s on the ground!
What I had to do to fit my 315 m/t’s the inner fender wall curves in tight. And they indefinitely run into the slicks. Buttttt. It’s a lip.. you can notch that metal out with a basic cut off wheel and re weld grind the weld down and you can fit a bigger tire. Regardless yes. You have to buy a fender roller to roll that fender lip. You can buy one at harbor freight for like 60 bucks… works fairly well. And you ditch that gas quad shock. You don’t need it. You already have a two control arms holding the diff. Not like your gonna lose ur differential going down the road lol. Also Don’t go too much on the fender roller.. otherwise you might fuck up your paint.
Wow i cant belive it were neighbors. I live by farrell rd and bruce.saw your vids and noticed alot by me .i have an 03 cobra.Hanz was talking about your car when i had mine dynoed.
Just bought these same wheels (but in 8.5 wide 245 size) my front hubs stick out too far and the wheels have too thin of a base to them. I dont want to run spacers, how can I make them work?
You're in the Midwest?... What city... I'm in the Midwest too... Madison Wis...I own a 89 fox body and a S550 GT...I have the 5lug 17" 94 cobra wheels.
Man I have so many questions this was helpful for the suspension but I want to kno could I have 5.8 fit in there . Because I have a gt500 I love my car but I miss my stick. I was going to try and get gt500 but a good one is 40k plus modding I am looking at paying the same as my 2020 gt500 not what I am tryna do. But I can find tons of stock 5.8 motors . And I'm falling in love with these notches more and more.
Its been done I seen a 5.4 gt500 swapped fox its physically same size as the 5.8. Matter of fact i would recommend doingba 5.4 swap with a blower swap you can get close to the same results as the 5.8 even when both are built there isnt much difference performance wise but there is a huge difference in price. The iron block 5.4 is stout and much cheaper to replace but it is heavier obviously. You could also do an aluminum 5.4 from an 11-12 but theyre quite a bit more expensive than the iron block ones but not as expensive as the 5.8. The only downside to the iron block is weight as far as how tough it is its as good/better than the aluminum blocks. Just some food for thought. If you dont care about spending alot more money for not much more performance by all means go for the 5.8. Search foxcast medias videos i beleive it was him who showed the 5.4 gt500 swapped fox.
quick question i have a 03 cobra with a whipple . so ur engine bay is pretty much the same as mine . how do you feel about washing your engine bay ? and if u do what's the process that u do?
Beautiful car man, don’t park it under that limb growing towards the street @ 1:16 . That’s a bad union at the trunk and it could snap and crush your whip.
@@BuiltVSBought thank you, I see you are running 18inch wheels. I also got 18 inch wheels. Did you have to use any spacers I heard not all coil overs work with 18 inch wheels

@@drfaticus sorry to inform you but burt brass shines like silver and is closer to white. And jesus is a Jew and not white or black. The church is represented as a black woman in song of Solomon and yes the first convert was black outside of the Jewish community....but Jesus wasnt isn't black, grow in grace and knowledge of the truth.
@@woundedfox5109 sorry to inform you, that Jesus is a HEBREW not a jew.Hebrew is the original, and jew is a type of the original. The original man is black,or a man of color.Whites came after the fact.Look at the paintings on the wall of the pyramids to see how they looked then.So now you can go expand and learn something!!
