I do still have stock cats with no damage that I have seen. But it will break down the cats over time, if you can upgrade to a catless down pipe do it.

@@DropTopPerformance I use diablosport (unfortunately I didn’t know hp tuners existed at the time I bought diablo, or else I would have gone with hp tuners) and I have no clue how to tune with it. I’m pretty sure I need some sort of license in order to custom tune it and look at my data logs

@@mafiahalo93 so 2 things, 1 I completely forgot to add that you need to adjust your minimum spark table to the negative timing in the base table (sorry) and 2 the negative timing i showed was just an example. You may have to bring the cells closer together. What is happening is the car is hanging idle due to the negative spark for to many cells. I hope that makes sense

Daniel Schmidt when your charger/challenger is in park or neutral your ecu limits to 4,000RPM. That is completely normal for your car to do.

@@daytonrd17 I know that. I got the rev limiter bumbed up to 5500 rpm when parked. But my rpms would stay stuck around 4k even with the foot off the pedal.

Drop Top Performance with the hp tuner you have linked do I need to have unlocked pcm? 2015 sxt

Unfortunately yes 2015 and up need to have their ECU unlocked. You can send it to HPTUNERS and I believe it's a 2 day turn around

So the cat has to heat up so that it can pull all the "emissions" but the temperature is controlled by fuel cooling off the cats. So when you max the ECT and pull timing more fuel is sent into the cats and ignites the fuel creating the pop

Yes, so GM will have a High and low octane spark table. That is your only spark table (much easier BTW lol) but what I would do is use your Scanning tool go for a drive and log your timing throughout the drive. Then look at where the hits are on deceleration and start adding Negative timing were you see fit. Once you find that sweet spot copy and paste your high octane spark table into your low octane spark table. Then you should be good to go!

No Hptuners allows you to modify the tables within the stock ECU

Unfortunately I'm not really sure, the software is the same but the engine is different. So use the same concept in a different group of cells and it should work

Yes, the Nag1 can be a little clunky. But with HPTUNERS you can gune the TCM and really dial it in.

Go to your minimum spark table and make sure where your negative timing is in the base spark table reflects into the minimum spark table.
