The air compressor should work, or just point the returns up. That should help.

If I'm going to make an adjustment like this I'll leave it in-between visits, and probably longer than that. This "hack" is more of a preventative thing then a quick corrective course of action. Obviously chemicals are the quickest way to adjust but if you routinely have a high ph (like on salt pools for instance) I'll try to help counter that by limited water feature use and surface disruption (pointing jets down). Does that make sense? If not feel free to call me tomorrow to discuss further. :)

You need to either turn off the water features/point returns downwards and/or use muriatic acid to lower the pH.

You’ll want to put in soda ash. You can also turn the jets upwards to cause turbulence in the water. That’ll raise your pH naturally.

You can also build diy fountain. It raised my pool ph level skyrocket high!.

You can put the returns upwards to cause the same effect as long as they are causing some turbulence at the surface you’ll be good.
