I believe it's all your efforts, skills(technical as well as communicational). I had CTC of 7.5 LPA and got 2 offers of 24LPA / 27LPA with experience of 6yrs. Just believe in yourself.
With 14 yrs exp .. got an offer for architect from TCS . They gave 35% hike ..I asked the hr to match industry standard she said will try to make it 40% next day early in the morning she called me up and said her manager did not apoove the 35% too so she revised it to 30%. I am bad at negotiation I told on her face I am not interested to join them. TCS can pay heavy salary to unqualified people ..but when they find qualified people they want to save 2 to 4L by giving them unfair offer. It's like trying to buy a tiger at a price of a dog.
In total my 9years of experience, this is the 5th time I am serving notice period. Based on that personal experience: 1. First you should clearly know the salary range going on the market for your experience and skillset 2. If you are below 5-6 years in 2021 to 2022 you can even get 20LPA, based on your skillset and current drawn salary 3. If you have an offered salary just above 20 LPA and for counter offer negotiation you can play somewhere around 3-4lakhs 4. It's better to do some research about average salary in the company for the offered designation, if you can do that most of the time I have seen, they pay you what you want if your quoute is somewhere in the median range of their payband
It all depends on mindset, confidence and relevant skill set. I was severely underpaid 3.5LPA with two years of experience got my next package for 18LPA.
There is nothing professional about a Salary. For Companies Professionalism is only a way to make you work at Lower Salary. So Never compromise on the Salary when you have the Power to Negotiate.

Why companies want to know candidate current salary, salary should be the value particular employee bring to table, they are asking to low ball the employee.
You should be prepared and have full information even if you dnt have any experience knowing things before hand helps u act rightly at the right time rather that learning things when its time to act . Keep it up
As a 8 yrs of experience in cloud and cybersecurity. Below points are considered for my skillset and domain 1. Company will give you ur desired amount if you are a early joiner. (15-30 days) 2. Your salary depends how badly they need this profile and howz ur interview ranking is 3. Sometime they provide you more, what yoh asked for. So you cant search for another company 4. Some companies provide good perks to lure employees. And its really matters in Tier1 and Tier2 cities 5. In the end you are just a resource for them. Keep this in mind. No matters how much lpa package u have 6. Learn Learn Learn, Be unique in ur field
Thanks a lot for making this video and tips! Having exp of 2.5 yrs and looking for my first switch, I have few questions about counter offer. In my case I have one offer and am serving notice in my current company. Generally when HR calls me for any job opportunities, they ask my current CTC and expected CTC and then schedule tech interview round. My question is When should we mention to HR about current offer - during initial call pre interview or after clearing tech interview? (Considering budget factor). Also is it fine to reveal name of company whose offer I have or share current offer letter with another company HR during salary negotiations? Thanks
Tell him/her about your offer letter after the interview, becoz if the offer is high and they cannot match they will not even schedule your interview. Yes you can reveal the company name and also send the offer letter, you have to do it if you live in India, you know the trust factor comes in picture.
In my opinion, you should mention your current offer when HR calls you for an interview, so that things will be cleared if they can match or not, and based on that they will conduct interview. By this, nobody's time will be wasted. I have already done same thing just now, I had already one big offer and one another company called me for interview, so in the beginning, I revealed my current offer and asked her if they can offer me better offer. So things can work in this way smoothly.
please , as an internship they are giving me 3.6LPA profile(Angular + java spring boot ) and obviously angular is there then js sass microservices are there , ! so after 6 month internship how much should i expect from them
@@omkarshinde7466 4.2 is now industry standard.. as you have done intership as well + projects..You can easily expect between 4.5 to 6.0. Minimum 4.5 you should ask atleast. It depends on your interview as well. Best of luck.
I have 8 years of experience in multiple technologies(Image processing, ML, Embedded Sysytems, PHP, Python, C#, ...)and in a smaller city I of aurangabad I have a 4.2 lpa right now. I have 4 years of experience in Node and 2+ with angular, now wat to switch to pune or bangalore, how much can salary can I expect?
I have talked to 100+ hr(s), the first thing they ask is current ctc, and expected ctc, before setting up interview process. This can lead to very dramatic results. Let's say you work in company A where SDE gets 10lpa. Now you've got hr call from company B where SDE gets 20lpa. If you don't know that and you say 12lpa based on current ctc, you'll be losing on a lot of money. I am still searching for a technique to tackle this, if anyone knows how to handle such situations, fell free to share your knowledge!
If they ask for an expected salary; avoid defining a specific number by saying I'm looking according to the industry or market standards as per my skills; if still asking the same question then ask straight forward what they're offering for the present role! Then you can get to know how much they're offering, and you can negotiate after that according. In some cases, you can also specify the expected salary, like I'm looking in between 20 and 30 Lp, which is negotiable. We can discuss this later if our goals align. Hope u found it helpful
salary itni bhi mat mangna ki utni salary me US ka developer aa jayega, India me cost cutting hota he isiliye to hum IT services jyada de paate he, agar hum bhi US developers jaise salary mangna start kar denge to bahar ki companies hame hire nahi karengi. Ye un logo ke liye he jo 40-50-60 lpa ka package mangte he.
Your current CTC is your personal data... You can respectfully denied to disclose that with respect. Yes they might ask you your expectations and they won't share their salary bracket easily. If you know what you want and your worth... Give a salary bracket... And even if everything goes well they will offer you less than your expectations... But you have to be polite and stand your ground... Remember they interviewed you even after knowing your expectations which means they can pay that as well.
Is it good if completed 1 year in one company and we get good offer from other company with 50 % hike so should we except that offer or shall I stay with the same company
Sir mujhe company me 8 month hue hain abhi main march me aane wale appraisal ke liye HR se baat ki thi unho ne kaha ke tumhara 1 year nahi hua isliye appraisal nahi milega
How to handle situation where nowadays HR don't actually give the answers when we ask all the questions like the early joining benefits, the hike cycle in company, the project details... like mostly the hr who talks with us doesn't have any information regarding the project. Like my experience I tried to ask they said you will get to know once joining the company and that really makes to think where to join. Like literally reached the employees of abc company to understand how internally things work the hike cycle, the early joining, the company development. Like one time i encountered a situation where i asked the HR regarding the work things to handle when joining. Mostly half things are not evn in paper nor discussed by HR
Please help me choose the best firm among Deloitte, Stefanini, TMF Group and Airtel X Labs. All of them are giving almost same package. Which one shall I join
Hi, I’m working in IT industry from last 5 years, I worked as network engineer for 2.5years and currently I am working as aws devops engineer, but as per my experience my package is too low 4lpa because I always prefer to do wfh job. How can i ask high salary please advise
Hi i got offer but they want to join in next 30 days . And my official notice period is 90 days. My hr is not relieving me before 90 days. I requested both like extend the joining date from 30days to 90 days .But they said try to join in 30 days. How to handle this situation? For time being i have accepted the letter. I will try to ask them to extend the date of joining.
Hi.. you can ask your current hr about how much you will have to pay in case you want to get released early ( most companies do so. They will ask some amount of money if you want an early release, depends on your position and package). When your current hr comes up with a number figure, you can ask for the same amount of money to your new company's hr as an early release buyout. I have seen this happening with many of my friends. Hope it helps.
@@gaurav007k530ihow do we convince them? my future employer wants to buyout my notice period but i really don’t want to deal with all of that my notice period is 2 months and i want to serve it how do i convince future employer about it
