I've been a casual student of health and fitness for 4 years and this is easily the best and most concise RU-vid channel on the topics. Even your sponsor is useful!
hey dave i really like the way u nake ur videos, the peaceful and layed back kinda vibe really give feelings of calmness. i also really appreciates ur way of viewing life. it would be a great idea to make a video of your self such as maybe child hood parents, nationality and things like that
I 100% agree with the pros and cons of drinking alcohol. I completely stopped drinking it two years ago, and my gains, performance, sleep and lifestyle overall got much better. Couldn't agree more with you!
I just watched your last video about your switch to weightlifting and I wanted to tell you I'M SO PROUD OF YOU! To hell with being in a rut! And somebody like you is gonna kill the Gains Game! ;) I'm really looking forward to your future videos! Keep it up!
I was reading "Thus spoke Zarathustra" and in that he said something to the effect of " Don't trust those you do not sleep" people knew how important sleep was back in only a hundred years.
@@thunderball11111 Don''t put importance in sleep, sleep should be something you look foreword to not push away. The mind, body, and spirit should just slip away with no hesitation. Its a good book I recommend reading it.
@@BaphomentIsAwsome666 I was just wondering if you meant to write "those you do not sleep" or if it was meant to be "those who do not sleep". I'll most likely end up reading Thus Spake Zarathustra at some point.
@@BaphomentIsAwsome666 I will most likely end up reading Thus Spake Zarathustra at some point I read a little of it a few years ago and it's not unlikely I'll go back to finish it some time. I was more so interested as to whether you meant to say "don't trust those you do not sleep" or if it's meant to be "those who do not sleep", because with Nietzsche it could legitimately be either.
Dave, glad that you uploaded. This was a very informative video, no doubt. But, we are missing that fun loving Dave from the past who travelled a lot and did deadpan jokes...🤗
Hey Dave, could you do a video on weighted calisthenics and your stats on the weighted dip and pull up? We've seen you do weighted dips in one of your latest vids, so it will be interesting to see your results + it's an idea for an easy to make video.
There are some people that are straight up flexing with their hours of sleep and i think its stupit to claim to be sleeping 3 hours a day when its actually around 9-10 and they have no problems being awake. Its stupid also because there are people with sleeping issues and illnesses that aren't going to find those idiots flexes funny!
Where did he get the recommendation of at least 40% fat from? I've been looking around for a while and always come across the 25-35% range as considered best
If you make sure that your form is a 100% correct, and that you don't load more weight than you could do with perfect form. Keep a training journal and increase the weights slowly. Don't increase to fast. Our egos always want more than we're capable of doing. Stick to a plan.
@@kollegah1808 Thanks a lot ! Almost everyone I asked says something like this , so I am going to do weighted calisthenics . Do you think that a weight west is better than a weight belt , because of the allocation of the additional weight ?? ( I don't know if I wrote it correctly , I hope you will understand 😂 )
@@ΚανείςΚανένας both do the job. If you're training in a gym, I would go with the belt because you have access to plates and kettlebells. I actually don't know if one of the options is healthier but I've been training with a belt for years without any issues.
