Good Q Ethan, I actually am really not sure. I submitted an updated transcript for every school that I could because I wanted to show them the classes that I was taking my last semester of undergrad. However, I have no idea if they actually read these, so I am not sure. I think I would recommend submitting an updated transcript though to show that you've learned whatever is covered in the classes you're taking in that last semester
So for grad school in the US you can upload (CV, SOP...) separately, not at once? I applied in Europe and it was: log into a Portal, upload everything at once and click an irreversible "submit". Later on, I could check whether my referees have submitted their letters.
