Im guessing 99 out of 100 people wouldnt have noticed if you skipped the guide coat and just laid the kandy on...your attention to these details really speaks to your character. These helmets look great... better than out of the factory paint by a wide margin.

Sharp as hell! I'm definitely going to try that Wet Wet Plus! This video convinced me to do my helmet first. It's been a long time since I painted a car and I wanna see how it turns out before I do my 57 Chevy. Keep up the videos, it gives guys like me the confidence to do our own rides.

That looks amazing! But...what was that at 29:16? Was thinking about doing mine, but I'll wait until I can get a setup like you. I have a couple guns I use for quick projects, but with that many costs, I'd be sure to get bugs in the paint in the back yard. When I retire from military, I plan to build a vented paint room for my hobbies. Anyways outstanding work!

Dont know about the safety of the helmet but the paint job is awesome. No sags, runs, orange peel, etc. mirror like distinctness of image, wow. Any ideas how to paint clean aluminum, same techniques?

i was just wondering on how you price your helmets i have a shop and do what you do and also some airbrushing but there is a football team who wants me to paint their helmets and i was just wondering on pricing or how much paint does it take to do a single helmet on average so i can figure a material list

years ago shops, that sold the paint would mix the activator & reducer, for you. you just had to get it to the spray area, and use it with in 2 hours. and Harbor freight wasn't around back then, we would use, the Badger Hobby Guns. we found that the tall thin Olive jars, would fit on the guns cap. we used to spray three bikes during the winters. ( learned a lot about Bondo ) and pin stripping. Nice set up, young Man.

i see so many people talking about how he ruined the helmet. Brain Buckets are DOT regulated but i would never want to go down in one and I guranteee you this helmet will do a better job thatn any brain bucket that Ive see but that doesnt stop any of you from wearing them. He removed the safety liner. The helmets made in the factory are fitted with that liner in a very fine way through lasers used by a computer so when you crash it doesn't dislodge from the force of the impact and crush your fucking skull off the pavement. Yes, he ruined it because you can NOT put these back in yourself without compromising the safety of the person wearing it.

I spray everything around 28 - 30 psi accept the ALLKANDY WET WET clear coat... I spray it at 50 psi...thanks for the support

Thanks Gary....Urekem nice but the difference I see with The Wet Wet is the way it lays down and the way it holds it's shine after curing...Just shoot it at 50 psi and it'll lay out like glass
