How to paint a simple landscape in Watercolour - No.1

I am a beginner and this tutorial is fantastic! I tried it and was pleased with the results (except I did it on cheap 98 lb paper). But now I think I have the confidence to move up to 140 lb paper without feeling like I'm wasting good paper. I ordered your book and am eagerly awaiting its arrival in a couple of days. Please keep up the good work. You are a great teacher! Also I enjoy the humor.

Thank you Paul. Debby from Montana is going to try this. I painted your beach cottage painting with the fence in it. I don't have a rigger brush so decided I didn't dare mess it up at that point as I didn't feel any of my brushes would be able to give me that fine of a line so just opted for a small boat on shore. I have had lots of good feed back so for only painting less than 3 months I'm encouraged to continue. Thank you again.

I get too tense when l concentrate so l appreciate the laughs and extremely thorough presentation, including helpful info on why different colours act differently due to varying sediments, etc. Edit: as this tutorial proceeded, l was stunned by how meticulously you explain things.
