I'm not a fan of turkey at all and I tried this. I'm never eating turkey again unless it's been brined and rotisserie'd

Well done Rus. I agree with your deflector plate and coals set up. And definitely placing a good sized pan underneath. I'd add some water and some airamatics to that water. Herbs, citris zest,garlic. Not all of this but some. This not only will add wonderful flavor to the bird but those drippings will make one heck of a gravy,hmmm. And I myself prefer turkeys in the 10 to twelve lb size. It cooks quicker, about 3 hours at 350°f at this size of bird but also has I believe a better ratio of exterior smoked meat to interior meat. So happy upcoming Thanksgiving sir.🦃👍

@@SnSGrills Unfortunately I had a glitch with the rotisserie. It was getting hung up and reversing. I had to revert to placing it on the middle rack. The brine, savory cavity “stuffing” and the end result was a home run! Thanks!

@@aldenforbes5741 did you ever figure out the issue with your rotisserie accessory? I have the MB 800 and planned on doing this.
@aldenforbes5741
@aldenforbes5741 Год назад
@@andrewvargas1260 Hi Andrew, the issue was associated with the insert adapter that goes between the motor and the spit. It was binding and scored up the adapter. I ran in on my drill and sanded it smooth with some open mesh sand cloth. Good luck!

Roughly how long total does the rotisserie turkey take to grill from start to finish once you start the grilling? Trying to make sure it’s done in time to eat and it doesn’t really specify

Why not leave the bird uncovered in the fridge overnight after your brine to dry out the skin so it’s crispy?
