I think people mostly use it to amuse themselves with spam when the streamer's gone and such? It predates the claymore, so when it was added to the game, Zajef started to call it the name of the fish emote. (Btw, Zajef also uses a Koel emote that is a Kokomi spinning the same way the original fish does.)

As someone who had sucrose since basically the start, dang, that's rough I was so lucky with my early pulls ngl, having sucrose was such a blessing in hindsight
@@roberto2568 Not only are you getting an extreme amount of damage reduction from Beidou + Xingqiu and Beidou's C1 Shield, electro-charged naturally makes enemies staggered more, and therefore attack you less.
If you know the enemies' attack patterns you're up against even just a little bit, because of the generous window of a perfect parry, you shouldn't be struggling too much. And, idk if you watched the first half of the video, because he literally said you should be getting back your Beidou burst even if you miss parries, because of the sheer amount of energy the team generates, if you have some ER
@@tonydai782 AND XQ's Rainsword healing becomes actually relevant with this amount of damage reduction, because it heals back most of the hit that procced it.
One thing I noticed is that for some reason, people just think Kazuha is better than Sucrose at everything, when thats just not true. Sucrose is better in reaction teams, Kazuha is better in hypercarry or mono element teams My game theory is that people dont want to admit that 4 stars sometimes are better or equal than the 5 stars they pulled, thats why a lot of people also say that Yelan is better than Xingqiu
My typical way of thinking is that Sucrose is better on field, Kazuha better off field. Simply because she's a Catalyst user and would be able to swirl a lot
Whenever a 4 star is compared to a 5 star and can even surpass the 5 star in certain situations, the 5 star bootlickers will always come out to trash the 4 star. You see it with Xingqiu and Yelan mains, and especially with Sucrose and Kazuha mains.

Didn't this team get powercrept by Sucrose Aggravate? ie replace Xingqiu with YaoYao or Baizhu. I haven't tried the taser variant, but the aggravate one is very strong and clears abyss pretty easily. Aggravate reaction is really good with Sucrose EM buff
Sucrose taser is a ton of chained reactions thanks to electro charged and swirls, so nah it hasn't really been powercrept by aggravate, it should be an equivalent
I'll probably play Sucrose taser on my future second account, rn despite having little 5 stars there's too many characters I don't consistently play This and I honestly hate Sucrose's grouping. It feels like it only works half of the time and from what zajeff said her positioning is important. I personally just think it's silly that my grouper doesn't group at a button press when they should
I never liked how Sucrose felt and I never got a Sac Frags until a few weeks ago. I've played since 1.6 and it was far too late. She had her time where she helped me a lot but i'm kinda glad to not have to deal with how wonky she felt anymore. I'd much rather just toss out the grouping at that point and use Heizou as a driver since at least he feels more fun.

I like to replace Xingqiu with Dendro Traveler in this team and play Aggravate. It works very well and I find it way more fun especially because I can use Xingqiu for my Alhaitham team.
Pro tip: unless you're running beidou solo electro where you need high ER, emblem is worse than her previous 2pc options. The ER required to match the damage bonus of 2pc TF/NO is 140
But emblem not only offers the burst damage bonus, you should also take into account the 20% ER from the 2pc, that's worth like 4 substats. That makes it better even at 140% ER.

Tazer is not a team you wanna build toward unless you're doing it for kicks, and that's coming from someone who has max cons on everyone of them. There are better teams to build up to for lower investment levels than this.
I have c0 sucrose c3 beidou and c2 fischl, taser with them is not fun or efficient at all, instead I use my fischl with yae miko...beidou with alhaitham, xingqiu with hu tao...those teams are way more fun and way stronger
For those who don’t have or like annoying crow girl like me, Lisa or Miko are better replacements especially with Proto amber thus allowing Sucrose to keep her best weapon.
The new furina/xingqiu/fischl/jean teamcomp gives you more damage but you lose on the damage reduction from beidou, grouping, and comfort the og comp gives you
Sucrose Taser is not a meta effective team at all, and if you say it is you are most likely PoverTCing really hard Sucrose Taser is effective in terms of just clearing fine under 180s every chamber, however if you want to clear faster odds are you will be much better playing either hyperbloom, revmelt or aggravate these days Taser aint it unless the driver has loads of dmg himself like neuv It is a nice team but not the best you can do unless your account only contains 4 stars and even then aggravate would probably be more practical unless there are hydro checks like this abyss
brother you are metachurling in a casual game made for braindead children. As long as a team gets you 9 stars easily it's good enough, there's really no need to go beyond that.
On the other hand, it's a non competitive single player game, and a 40 second clear brings no benefit over a 3 minute clear. "Meta effective" is kind of a meme of a term at this point because the meta teams are generally unnecessary overkill. Hyperbloom is pretty much always going to give you the fastest clear time, but honestly, it's so boring at this point. I'd much rather play something "off meta" that's actually interesting and not just default to hyperbloom over and over again because Reddit is obsessed with saving 6 seconds a clear.

if you're really committed you can use kuki instead of beidou and kazuha instead of sucrose and get the same amount of dmg as sucrose taser if you use instructor on kuki and TF on kazuha but in any case both teams don't feel fun to me

@@wilburforce8046 its a really good team considering the investment required, the characters needed and is braindead to play, pretty much impossible to go wrong with it. not every team needs to be childe international, neuvillette furina or freeze ayaka. sure you can go dendro instead of xingqiu for more damage, but on the current f12 first side having xingqiu makes quick work of the pyro lectors

Would wandefer also be a good swap for sucrose? I wanted to get him for mono-anemo for the funny hahas, but ended up getting C9 rosaria, C4 Yanfei, and only C1 faruzan 🫠 (and then lost my second 50/50 to Dehya 🫠🫠🫠). So now I’m not sure as to what team I can maximize him on.
